Bronzepaw put her ears back in embarassment. "I was bored! I just wanted to catch a mouse or something." She glanced at the territory for a second, and saw something silvery. She wandered towards it, and brung back the small silver monster-bike in front of Icestar. "This is what it looked like, Icestar, only Twolegs were riding it!"

 I said you just don't know...Icestar nodded, still a sparkle of amusement in her icy eyes. "I'll make sure there's more patrols to keep an eye out for that." she mewed and turned to walk back into the clearing. With a flick of her tail, she listened for Bronzepaw to follow. It wasn't safe for her out there right now. Especially because of her recent injuries. ...how hard it is to not be by your side, every night.

Bronzepaw looked at the bike before following. It looked so shiny...she licked it, trying to see what it tasted like. She spat, running over to Icestar. "It tastes sort of like mud, and even a tiny bit like blood! The same sort of taste like blood!"

Blizzardpaw sighed, his tail curled around his chilled paws.
We've been waiting her forever! He finally complained. His patience had finally worn off. Should we head back to the camp and tell Icestar that they're not comming, Lionheart? My paws are cold and my whiskers frozen.
BLizzardpaw shuddered and some of the snowflakes that had collected on his pelt fell off.

Spicepelt nodded, shivering slightly. "W-We should go b-back. I c-can't t-take another s-second of this. I-if RiverClan a-are coming through our t-territory, they c-can make the trip t-themselves."

Icestar nodded. "I hope you don't get sick from that." she purred.
Lionheart shook his pelt. The snow was collecting on them. "Come on... let's go." he mewed quietly, turning to head back.

Leafstorm padded into the nursery.
"What's going on?" Pebblenose asked worriedly.
"It's nothing. Icestar's handling it." He reassured her pressing his cold pelt to her warmth to warm up.
Pebbelnose shivered. "You've been standing in the cold to long!" She hissed.

Bronzepaw nodded,and hesitantly licked it again. She confirimed, "Definetly like blood. Icestar, do you think it's made of blood? But that something bigger killed it? 'Cause if we can eat it, it would feed us for a while!"
Spicepelt nodded, walking back. I can't wait to get in my nice warm den... She thought quickly, walking faster.

I said you just don't know... Icestar shook her head. "Go ahead, if you want to get sick." she mewed with a chuckle.
Lionheart shivered, happy to finally able to feel the warmth of camp as he slipped through the entrance. "There's no sign of RiverClan. It's getting cold out there, we had to come back. We can't risk illness." he reported to Icestar the moment he saw her. She nodded, but didn't take her eyes off Bronzepaw. Lionheart tilted his head, confused, but didn't bother asking. Instead he grabbed food by the fresh-kill pile and ate. ...how hard it is to not be by your side, every night.

Bronzepaw bit down on the shiny metal monster. "It's too hard! Worse than frozen mice in leaf-bare or ice!" She ran back to the medicine cat's den.
Spicepelt nodded. "Y-yes. Not even a fresh scent. I suppose if they wish to get their apprentice back, they'll have to cross the territories by themselves." She walked over to get a mouse, and brought it inside the warrior's den to eat.

Leopardpelt watched what was going on in the center of the camp. She was getting quite interested in the gaint metal monster-thing, but her thoughts were intterupted by Bronzepaw storming into the den. "What happened? Are you hurt? Why'd you come back?"

Bronzepaw blinked. "My teeth are a little sore, but that's only because the metal monster was too hard to eat. I came back 'cause I didn't want it chasing me if it was still alive. Could it still be alive, Leopardpelt, even though it tasted like blood? Like the monsters on the Thunderpath?"

Leopardpelt considered the question very carefully, she didn't want to scare Bronzepaw. "In my limited experience, no. Those kinds of monsters only work with Twolegs on them. I still wouldn't get too close to them though, they might still have some kick left in them." She went into her den to get some alder bark for Bronzepaw to chew on. "Here you go Bronzepaw, for your toothache, just chew on it."
