Ambrose's scowl at being called Angelina's "sex puppet" turned into a wide-eyed, bristled "What?!"
Taking a breath and shaking his head he glared at the man, suddenly feeling dirtier for sharing the same patch of water with him.

"Well... yes..." Ambrose regarded him dubiously. "Although I wouldn't say it in such... possessive terms." He crossed his arms across his chest, wondering where this was leading to."

"Yer gettin' hair all in me river, lad," Billy cocked his head, frowning pointedly and still low in the water.

A small curl of his lip revealed a long, curved fang. "Last I checked the river belongs to the 'good' doctor. Besides, I wouldn't be so concerned with hair - I'm sure your grease is polluting it more than my fur."

"Oh! Ohh tha' was good! Real good, lad!" He laughed, finally straightening up, gently shaking off his tentacles as the water level dropped to just below his chest. "Tha's sure tellin' me!"

Ambrose wasn't entirely sure if his laughter was snide or genuine, but as Ambrose was puzzling over what to make of if, his eyes bugged as his torso and its writhing tentacles came into view.
"Dear lord" was quickly muffled with a pawlike hand to his mouth and a rather obvious aversion of his look. Ambrose hadn't been ready for the sight to say the least. He had assumed that the newcomer hadn't changed yet.... obviously incorrectly.
"I'm sorry!" He followed up quickly. "I just wasn't prepared... ergh... I'm sorry, I must seem like a damned hypocrite. I didn't think you had changed." His eyes were drawn back to his chest with a morbid curiousity.

"Shame I don' got a wee cutie lassy in a teeny bakini t'slap you fer tha', aint it?" He snorted, glaring darkly at the man-beast. His tentacles wriggled angrilly befor wrapping around his torso for support.

Ambrose looked as if the man had slapped his nose with a newspaper, a frown tugging at his mouth as he forced himself to look away from the squiggling tentacles.
Instead, his mind decided to focus on the image of Angelina in the bikini she had brought with her to the island. Realizing a moment later that he wasn't wearing anything and the water wasn't that deep, Ambrose sunk lower and muttered another 'sorry'.
Once again, Ambrose was pointedly reminded of how 'lucky' he was to have been selected for a 'good' animal. Even though he agreed with Vasile thoroughly about the whole issue of feeling guilty about feeling bad for himself as he WAS becoming an animal and he wasn't keen on that whole idea in general.
Change the subject.
"Do.... do you know what you're becoming..?" he hesitated.
Way to go on the subject change.

Billy raised an eyebrow, looking down at the man. The fact he had extremedies lopped off here and there had to be dismissed- he hoped the water was enough cover to keep anything he was missing, tentacle or testical, would be left alone.
"Oh, I was thinkin' a duck, wha' d'ye think?" He chuckled wickedly.

Ambrose's eyes narrowed. "har har." He replied with a snort.
For Billy's sake, Ambrose hadn't noticed either... shortcoming.
"Well, I mean... there is more than one creature with... uh... tentacles." He said the word as if it were a disease.
He eyed them again, noting the row of suckers along his arms, and the happily squirming added ones coming from his chest. He'd never say it.... but they were quite disgusting. Ambrose wouldn't trade him for any amount of money, even if that was as far as the squid-man was going to change.

"Th'general concencuss is Octopus. An' wha' are ye? A husky-dog?" Billy leaned back to swim against the current in a bored sort of fashion.

"Ah... I see." Octopus. How in the hell was that going to work? Did they even have bodies or just a head with tentacles coming off of them? Ambrose studied the tentacles coming from his chest. Time would tell, he supposed. The poor b*****d. was an apology in order? Or would that make him seem to be all the more of an a**? Likely the latter. He had already put his big foot in his mouth more than once in this short encounter.
"A wolf." He corrected quietly. "At least that's what the doctors say. And, well... given what I've been reading, things seem fairly accurate."

"Big bad wolf's gonna' huff an' puff an' rip her bakini off, eh?" Billy chuckled, amused by his own joke. It was a lot more entertaining a thought than how his own transformation would take him when he was as far as this man... or Pyroth... would this Wolfy blonde soon be reduced to teh same hunched... crippled monstrocity? What would he himself- He stopped those thoughts, shaking his head a moment befor dunking his head under a moment and resurface.
Once properly squeejeed dry with a suckerlined hand, ha glanced over to the wolf, "How old are ye, lad?"

Ambrose blushed thoroughly, though whether or not that was evident under his fur was another question. However, his darting gaze off to the side was incriminating enough. It had taken some time for Angelina and him to... get used to the idea of his change, but at least before his last change they had made some real headway, to the point of a little bit of not-so-innocent playacting in the confines of their duplex and some maturized fable plots.
Ambrose took a seat on the pebbly bottom on the other side of the river's sloping bank, the water rising to about his mid chest. "I'm just twenty one... a few monts ago." He replied, looking to the man curiously. He seemed to be emerging out of his snide teasing tone.
"What about yourself?"
