Teardrop swatted at the fruit as it came down, slicing it into pieces. "I'm not a big fan of fruit.. and what do you mean by i look 'different'?" She looked up at him, her head tilted.

Teardrop tried to move her head back but it was already against the tree. She touched her cheek, which was really red. "i..." Her pruple eyes looked into his eyes for a moment, and then she looked at the ground. She didn't breathe.

"L-L-Lovebirds?!" Baylor was startled by the stranger's sudden intrusion. He quickly backed away from Teardrop. "Love?! What the hell gave you that idea?!" Baylor retorted. "And no, not that I know of. Who do you think you are for just barging into other people's time when they're just having a conversation??"
