elvisnake But South Carolina is the Armpit of teh Carolinas I assure you, Florida is no jewel, despite what is shown on TV. When ever I go to Miami, I say, "Miami Seaport. You'll never find a more wretched hide of scum and villainy." And it's true, too (except for Los Angeles and Philadelphia, of course) a former friend of mine that goes to Miami University says that they get notices of muggings on campus almost daily.

Miami-dade is definitely not a nice place to live, although it's not bad to visit. However, the jewels of Florida are towards the panhandle, i remember that much.

Nelowulf Miami-dade is definitely not a nice place to live, although it's not bad to visit. However, the jewels of Florida are towards the panhandle, i remember that much. I'm several hours drive from Miami, so I'm okay there, but I'm not in the panhandle. However, I'm told that there are a lot of pot farms in my area, which is ironic considering my stance on that stuff. As for other forms of crime, I don't hear much about it other than wannabe gangs that don't do anything. I'm sure plenty of stuff happens that I don't hear about, though.
