Taqune saw the creature coming at them and put up a ultra low sound barrier that would act like a subwoofer that was right in your ear when it was touch.He added this for extra protection and to liten the load on the small girl before him."Don't worry."Taqune smiled as if nothing was going to happen.He seemed confident maybe alittle too confident.

Taqune noticed the barriers were cracking so he took action,jumping out of the barriers from the hole in the top he vanished and reappeared on the other side of the creature that was attacking him and the young lady.He had gone to three times the sound of speed and struck with his claws across the creatures face and chest;whether it did any damage or not was yet to be seen.Taqune turned and transformed into his wereform ready to fight more if it was nessecery.

Jess looked up at the enormous monster, now in the courtyard. Her face went pure white with a mix of fear, and dread, and then curisosity. Still she had no time to be thinking about where this monster could have come from, or why it was here, she simply had to act, to move, do something! She closed her eyes letting her powers flow through her before raising her arms to shoulder height, palms up. Then suddenly with an explosion of enery created many lagrge vines, As she pushed her hands forward in a thrusting motion, the vines followed flying right at the beast. Her overall goal was to get the beast caught in the vines. Or atleast serve as a distraction for someone with more equipped powers to take the beast down. Still, Lauri seemed to have a pretty good hold at protecting the people of the courtyard......

Unaware of the commotion below, another scene was taking place, miles and miles above Ria.
Lush clouds of white and gray drifted by, but wisps lingered and swirled in a single area of quivering air. It seemed like there was a shape holding them back...almost at least...
The wind picked up, and shreds of cloud added onto the twirling spiral of now glowing air. After a little bit, the heaps of condensation stopped moving in their straight paths, but veered into a wide circle, rimming around the unshapely other mass.

From below, it must have looked like a funnel cloud, or maybe the eye of a hurricane.

Slowly, Sin gained his senses. He had no idea what he was, where he was, anything. No recognition of the life before him, or his past, he just knew he was there...
Soon, he felt himself materialize, his arms and legs were revealed by the sky blue clouds. He wondered vaguely, how could clouds be sky blue? That's when he noticed the whirling tornado around him. Hearing had kicked in along with sight; he looked through a little triangle of vision. That wasn't right...he thought.

For a brief second, the clouds where thrown back awkwardly at the rush of air created by Sin's wings unfolding. Now he could see, he was no longer in a cocoon of feathers.

His wings limp, but opened, Sin slowly drifted down through the tornado, the earth below visible only by the circle created by the end of the funnel. He had a feeling that the only thing keeping him up was the air from the whirlwind on his opened wings...he didn't even know if he could fly…yet.

Eventually, the tornado slowed, and then ceased, Sin fell faster, ribbons of cloud clinging to his sleek form. He gradually fell into a nosedive towards the earth. The old whips of clouds formed into actual ribbons around his body, and loose feathers blossomed into tiny wing shapes, plastering themselves onto his body. Soon, he was clad in a slightly revealing white outfit of feathery wings and thin sky-blue ribbons.

He fell faster...feathers trailing behind him. Now he could see the chaos down below him. The harsh air caused tears to cascade from his eyes as he strained to keep them locked onto the action.

As the people fought below, a slight zipping sound could be heard as Sin crashed into the ground, some 30 yards from the fight. A large depression surrounded his figure. His eyes were closed, but not for long, one peeked open weakly.

Lily stared wide-eyed at the monster that stood before her. So much for peacful She thought as she recalled why she'd originally joined Ria High. She shook off the thought and tried to figure a game plan, but before she had even collected her thoughts she saw Darius runnning into the courtyard from the Ancient Forest. Her panic rose. This situation was not good, and it had just gone to worse. She pulled up her hands high above her head and created a small force feild, but soon realized it wasn't needed for another girl in the courtyard had already put a barracade up.

Taqune's strikes could not possibly hit the creature's chest, as it was on all fours...which would mean he would have to be under the beast. But his slash did strike at the creature's face, and caused mere flesh wounds barely noticable. So unnoticable they were, that the creature did not stop its attack against the female's barrier. She managed to raise a dark, more powerful barrier against the mighty strike of its tail blade. But the result may not have been what she counted on, for the moment the blade hit it indeed was stopped. However, the tail was not deflected...rather it was attracted to the new barrier. It stuck slightly in the energy shield, and as it did, the same black streaks of electricity began to flow over the monster's body. First, the current rose up its tail, and then through the base, then eventually through the entire body. The flesh wounds already formed from its battle earlier soon began to close more quickly as the energy flowed throughout its body, summoned into the center eye which remained widely opened. It even roared louder, seeming to simply ignore the chunks of cobblestone thrown by Darius. As for the vines, they were torn at the seams by these bolts, too weak to withstand the growing, building power that this creature seemed to be taking from whatever powered Laurelei's barrier.

Now came Scytheress' strike, which like the others was worthless. Quite possibly the strongest part of its body because of the plating, and only made stronger because of the sudden energy now building within its body, Scytheress' blade merely struck against the appendage and did nothing. In fact, the surging power may have actually been conducted by her blade and struck her with a quick, powerful shock which may stun her. "Ur...why won't you let me go?! They need help, that...thing...needs to be killed before it does anymore damage or hurts others!" Maru shouted at Solumone, who now stood next to him a good many feet away from the battle. Solumone merely smirked, pressing a finger against the center of his glasses to push them against his face. "Because it is simply too early, Maru. When the time is right, I shall tell you and then you shall make your attack. Patient is a great and noteworthy virtue, one I would expect you would have more of." he tilted his head toward Maru, who merely stood there gritting his teeth. "Damn it Graves...I will not...what...?" he held his hands in front of his face as debris from the ground flew past him. Though Solumon as always kept calm, not a trace of smoke, dust, or dirt so much as nearing him. He approached slowly to the new crater in the ground, smirking as always. "Hmm, you know, this may not be the most oppertune place to land, friend." were the first and only words he said to the new arrival, Sin.

Taqune noticed that his attack didn't work so he opted for plan two.Taqune took a deep breath and let out a defting roar,it would make a sound barrier that if ruptured from the inside it would create a sonic boom that would rip flesh and break bones.The noise from the explosion would make most go deft.
Taqune was watching the barrier form hopping the creature wouldn't attack him before it was finished.For things could enter it but they couldn't exit.His barrier was almost finished.
