Nopes. She used to be pretty nice, but she got majorly stabbed in the back by her best friend and left to die (hence the burns that cover her entire body, and her fear of fire), but it left her very bitter. She now refuses to let anyone get close enough to potentially hurt her at all - Kat doesn't really count. She sort of likes Kat, they're sort of friends, but she wouldn't hesitate to screw Kat over and hurt *her*. Hyopcritical much?
So yeah. Past betrayals and her inability to move on turned her into a total cow, and then DRKNRGY intensified it
