BridgeChan Malee BridgeChan Malee Care_e but Malee gets to come home soon though, right? XD *reads her LJ* Yup! I leave Japan in 32 days. I'll be in Hawaii for a week though before getting back to Oregon on the 26th.Woot! Malee coming home ^0^! *Does a dance* Wow, how long have you been in Japan? o.o! The time has passed by so quickly XD I've been in Japan almost 10 months. I know, time has really flown by.Wow, almost a year @w@! I'm really hoping Pete gets stationed somewhere in Japan sometime before we have kids. I wanna go there SO badly, I can taste it (and it tastes like sushi and fish cakes 9.< lol). So is this the end of your teaching over there (I think it was teaching if I remember correctly) or are you coming home just for the holidays? Yup, all finished with. Back to the grind in the US.

BridgeChan Well, just a heads up, I went to a neurologist today to see if they might have some foresight on my passing out spells when I go to get my blood drawn. When I went to the ER a few weeks ago, the doctor there said I seem to be experiencing a " vasovagal anxiety" reaction since I've had many of these fainting spells in my life over the same thing. I brought the issue up to the doctor and he made me do a series of tests. One of them however dealt with him feeling my atlas bone at the base of my neck. When he applied pressure to the right side, I became overwhelmed with pain and it immediately triggered one of my attacks; I got dizzy, my legs started to tingle really bad, went into a cold sweat, and had to lay down. He's now got me going to a Cardiologist again because he says that I'm pretty tender in that spot and I need to get them to look at it. He's also got me signed up for an EEG. I also think it has something to do with the drop in my heart rate, which can lead to a drop in blood pressure that is significant enough to result in a loss of consciousness; which I almost did if I had not laid down the moment I started feeling my warning signs. That effectively restores blood flow to my brain immediately and helps end the fainting spell. So woo, more medical issues X'D lol This is good right? Not the whole fainting and all that stuff, that is certainly not good. But if they found a spot that triggers the reaction they may be on the right path to finding out what is wrong and providing a solution. Right?

BridgeChan Care_e nah. he's been in the airforce for 7yrs now. When he was here in Monterey, he was studying Chinese to get ready for his new job, which will be in Hawaii. After his studies here in Cali, he and his classmates got shipped to Texas for training on their new job that they are going to be doing in Hawaii. That training is from Sept. to Dec. He has to report to Hawaii by Jan 30th but he is going to be there a few weeks earlier to look for a place for him and i, then i will move there probably early to mid February. whee Ooohh, I thought he was a new airman X'D So if he's been in for 7 years, that means he's cross training into linguistics perhaps? Or was the Chinese just to help him communicate with his peers while he's in his new job? I'm guessing he's getting his second training course now since he's in Texas 9.< *Brain is whirling* lol Well, just a heads up, I went to a neurologist today to see if they might have some foresight on my passing out spells when I go to get my blood drawn. So woo, more medical issues X'D lol hehe nope,. he's been in the airforce since he was 20 whee his rank is Staff Stg. And yes, he is cross traning into linguistics for his new career. he wanted to try something different and that landed him here in Cali for his classes (i wont complain that he switched airforce career options XDD). and even though all that medical stuff sounds scary, at least they are doing testing to find out what could be wrong. I'm sure everything will be ok :heart;

ooh, drink! great idea! i've been afraid to drink since i started working... which of course takes away all the fun of being a grown-up... but it's already hard enough to teach my classes when i'm sober.
hrm. no alcohol in the fridge. i have to go out and buy some.

Malee's trip in Japan is about to end.
If you want alcohol you should come here. I'm amazed by the sheer amount of alcohol you can buy in like seven eleven. Or a vending machine, if you don't feel like running to the store. Which are around like every corner.
