      Athena was already smiling, as she clasped her hands in front of her. He really was the perfect person to talk to, his words brought such reassurance to her, it felt as though a weight of worry had been lifted away with just his kind words. "You are really kind! I'm so very happy I spoke to you about this, your words make me feel so much better! " Her smiling face couldn't be any brighter. "I will be strong. I won't let their judging bother me anymore..Thank you, Ephraim.." She was way to easy to reassure, it was like any negativity that tried to build up in her, was easily dispelled with sincere words.
She took a step forward, a more playful expression in her eyes now. "...Then, be prepared not to think straight for a few more moments...because...! " She closed the distance by grabbing him into a hug, again! Poor Ephraim. But it wasn't long before she released him, giggling as she stepped away again. "That was for being so helpful..and your kind words..O-oh..and the compliment! If were being honest, I think you're really very handsome, too!" She was probably just as bad at the whole playful flirting thing as he was, though this was hardly flirting. Just two people complimenting each other! That was how she saw it, in all kindness.
"..I-I wouldn't call that --never mind. This isn't the time to be talking like that! " She had to hide her small blush with her hand, gods, how silly. They could have been killed a few seconds ago and here she was already blushing. Lucky for Azura, the situation was enough to take her mind off what she said quick enough, as she focused on the unfamiliar figure with the long flowing crimson cloak. Well, this was certainly someone she never seen around here! Was he part of Avalanche? She didn't exactly spend all her time here, so it made sense she didn't know -everyone-. Her focus went on to the creature on his shoulder, a...strange looking..cat? ..It was rather cute, of course she couldn't not be curious of the talking cat on the mans shoulder. "......" Azura began to walk forward, towards Vincent at a slow pace, obviously she didn't want to look suspicious or alarm him. Her focus wasn't exactly on him, anyway, as she reached up her hand to....pet the 'cat' on top of it's head. "You are the cutest! Do you have a name? " She asked. Reeve must of gotten a good deal of amusement with this encounter.

Constantine Ever since Kiana's rapid hostile takeover of the Shinra Building, it seemed most of the Shinra troops were quickly evacuating. Not all, though--and somebody had to do the cleanup. After having dispatched several around the city, Constantine had made a less-than-subtle entrance to Avalanche's mansion, which earned him the ire of the group if infantrymen occupying it. Now, with all their guns pointed at him, he seemed at a disadvantage, yet his expression certainly didn't show it. "Looks like you've got me." He said flatly. "Try not to make the wrong move now."
"Cocky b*****d," one of them said, and without further warning, his assault rifle let loose its flurry of bullets.
The man they faced did not move, yet a flurry of magical swords the same color as his hair materialized around him in apparent defense, spinning rapidly and moving in a flurry to deflect the bullets flawlessly--after which they all fanned out and plunged into the infantryman's chest. The man stood yet just as still, his expression unchanging. "That was the wrong move." He said simply. "Who's next?"
One of the infantrymen drew a grenade, pulling the pin and throwing it at the man. A good idea, except that he found the grenade stuck to his palm like glue. The attempt to remove it was desperate, but ultimately fruitless, and his two allies dived to the side to avoid the explosion that consumed their comrade. "...Well, that didn't seem right either, did it?" He turned his head towards the two that remained.
One stood, throwing their gun aside and drawing their sword, holding it as firmly as they could in a pose that almost emulated that of a SOLDIER. "Brave," Constantine said, a magical spear of the same color as before materializing in his hand before he drew it back and hurled it with incredible strength, lodging it into the man's chest and pulling him with its incredible velocity until it stuck itself into the wall along with its victim. "But not smart." He finished, his eyes coming to rest on the last would-be adversary.
As this man stood, he dropped his weapon, and turned and sprinted as quickly as he could out the back door. "...Not brave, but smart. The only way to win is to not play."
There was another, waiting to ambush him. Of course, he could feel this from miles away, but he allowed him to sneak upon him regardless. And soon he would feel the barrel of a rifle pressing into his back.
"Free-"
"What do you suppose will happen when you pull that trigger?" Constantine asked calmly, his reaction so quick that it was obvious he had been expecting him. "Do you suppose I'll die? Do you suppose you'll kill me, and become a hero? Do you think I wasn't expecting you? Do you believe your death will be any more pleasant than theirs, if you try? ...Go ahead. Try your luck. Maybe you'll win." ...The infantryman was suddenly much less gung-ho. He seemed rather nervous and indecisive now...

Solaris That hesitation would ultimately be his undoing--not that he had any chance of walking away had he tried to pull the trigger. Maybe if he had run away, but the choice was made for him, as a spear was forced through his back, before its wielder turned and flung him out the door. Immediately disregarding the fallen foe, the girl with long pointed ears turned her attention back, leaning Reginleif against her shoulder and raising an eyebrow. "How come I always have to save you, little brother?" She asked playfully, smirking slightly. "When you get a girlfriend, it better be somebody strong, since you're so helpless and all..." Yes, clearly if there was one thing to take away from that scene, it was how helpless this man was!"You remain as amusing as ever, sister." He responded sarcastically."Oh, lighten up already. I don't think I've seen you smile once since those bigshots indoctrinated you into joining them. Our other siblings will be sad you've turned so severe!""Heh." Constance cracked a smile in spite of himself. "Good thing they have you around to tuck them in and read them a bedtime story, then." He said, turning and walking into the now vacant mansion."Yeah, that's really what I'm best at..." She responded just as sarcastically, following him inside. "Since almost everyone else is still enjoying their vacation, what say we go through their stuff?""You're just as nosy and classless as ever, dear sister.""So true." She grinned,"You go ahead. I have important matters to-""Oh, more important matters? Put them off for me, huh? Been a while since we had time to chat. Why not celebrate by making some cookies for us?""Ah, so that's what you really want...""No! Well, I mean... it's a nice bonus. I do want to talk to you too! But it's been a few months, and mom's not the best cook."Constantine chuckled, rolling his eyes. "Fine, but you'd better give me some riveting conversation." He said as he began to make his way towards the kitchen."That I can do!" She called excitedly, following her younger brother eagerly. His cookies must have been something else! Or she was just hungry for sweets. Or both?

 How unfortunate for Neptune to have missed out on such a great moment, she always did enjoy watching Constantine play with his enemies and defeat them through a bit of humiliation. Not that they would usually live long to sulk in their failures, as they tended to be..well, dead..
It was exactly the moment when Neptune began to approach the door, that a body would go flying out, right past her! If she was just a little more to the left, she would have a pleasant experience with a dead body flung at her, and the one throwing it oblivious to her presence! "Alright...i'm going to assume you didn't see us there. Watch where your throwing bodies, will you?! " She glanced down to the lucky youngster at her side, who also missed the fate of meeting a dead body all due to her being at her right side. Lucky her, how traumatizing would that of been if SHE got a body thrown at her, by her own sister!
In regards of why Neptune was only now arriving, while the two siblings were to check out the mansion, Neptune was to go get Marie who was waiting for them at the church, the only safe place they could trust at the moment. "Should we wait for a clean up crew, or is it safe for Marie to come inside? " She really didn't want to walk in on a bloody horror show within the mansion when sweet little Marie was there!
"I feel like i'm interrupting suddenly.." She blinked, glancing towards the two after a few moments. She could certainly read the room, and it seemed like Solaris may of wanted time with her dearest brother, all the while eating cookies he would eventually find himself edged on to make! "..Heh...Should I fetch you a apron? " She teased. Why did all the ladies absolutely suck at cooking? Okay, maybe not so much Tifa, she may of been the only capable one within their ranks so far!

SolarisSolaris glanced towards the voice, Reginleif still rested on her shoulder. "Or maybe you should watch where you're walking!" She returned. "You missed the fun--oh, I see." She took a step to the side, leaning her spear against the wall and walking over to her little sister. "Well, nobody around to try to bully you anymore, is there? Though if anyone tries, you know what your big sister'll do to them." She said, leaning down and hoisting Marie up on her shoulder effortlessly.A snap from inside preceded an influx of magic, which washed over the entire mansion in moments."It's Constantine, you know we don't need to worry about that." She joked, walking inside, and indeed, that magical energy surged through the entire area, disposing of the corpses properly through teleportation and washing the blood away. "How do some cookies sound, Marie? As long as Constantine makes them, anyway."Glancing over his shoulder, Constantine chuckled at Neptune. "Well, you've already interrupted, so you can't escape now." He said, and she would feel a rush of wind behind her which slammed the doors behind her--after pushing her into the mansion had she not already entered herself. "I need something pleasant to look at if I'm going to have to do this." He said with a hint of playfulness, turning towards the kitchen. "You should. You can get one for yourself, too. You're going to be my assistant."Solaris sighed. "These cookies are never getting done." She muttered. "Remember you two, making out is NOT part of a cookie recipe." For two people who weren't in an official relationship, it sure seemed like they may as well have been.
