Shez hated Nelphean enought to make a clone and torture it. A need for other clones arised, but subsided.

For each action their is a reaction,
Nelphean pissed of Shez.
Shez got angry.
Shez cloned Nelphean.
Shez tortured clone in anticipation for real, practice.
Shez needed more clones for plan to get real nel, as fake one made her more hungry.
Azrael came up with plan.
Clones made, some discarded.
Attack made, clone not used.
CLone left with fake Nelphean, because Shez like torturing him with her.
Shez died.
Clones escaped.
Clone died.

and considering that reaction, it's probably a good idea that they left malik's sword. woudl have hated to see that fight with Malvolence in the clones hand...well..not entirely. mighta beena nice fight. heh

Durandal: intellegent sword with a taste for human blood.
Rakka: Not a lightsabre rolleyes
Caliburn: The sword of kings, also intellegent.
Soulforage: flames.
Soulforage (II): is special.
Malevolence: Drinks blood, probably restores life.
Sun Blade: pretty sword.
Did Aurahkah figure out why she was cloned?

actually, Malvolence is like a Cymarron sword. that's who's blood is in the vial that boils when the sword is working.
Sword drink blood, imparts user with mental/physical gifts. which is how Malik was even abel to talk to Samson mentally. problem is, Malvolence imparts bloodlust to teh weilder, because it wants more. it's addicted to blood, and it makes it's owner addicted to wanting to shed it.
it's like Durandal without a prejudice or any real intellect.

I'm beginning to see a flaw in my sword collecting habit.
And I was cloned...to just torture Nelphean and lure the other? Or am I missing more?

that is good enough, I'd rather not discuss the real reason.
Malevolence shoudl be come prejudice... com'on, all the big swords are.
