You know whats funny, the only other thing thats as high as dentists on the suicide statistic is Mormons, which the author is.
THERE IS STILL HOPE!
Also all my high school (male) friends with exception to like 2 are huge fans of twilight. I tried to read a couple pages and then groaned at how shittily it was written.

I'm not a huge fan, but I did read the books and I thought they were decent. Stephenie Meyer, however, did write a better novel then all four of the books. It's called, The Host. It's an emotionally jam-packed thriller about intergalactic parasites, with several twists and turns along the way. While I read the Twilight series, I could tell you everything that was going to happen before I read it; with The Host, I had no idea what was going to happen next and was always kept on the edge of my seat. Like all great novels, however, you have to sit and tough out the first few chapters, because everyone knows that's where the concept and the plot is introduced.
EDIT: I actually ended up winning a box with innumerable pieces of one-of-the-kind memorabilia from the move, Twilight, and I met the director and several of the actors in person. Go figure.
