I mean, IIRC...Inu-Yasha's set in 17th century Japan, right? (The shame. I actually forgot 99% of what I learned about IY.) So, if the United States didn't even exist... Of course, then you get into the issues of having a cartoon character as president (which...well, hey, Dubya's still in office, right?) and the potential of what he'd probably do in office. Anyone want to write up a thesis on why, exactly, president!Inuyasha would never work, even if it were possible?
