cardi can i eat crackers in my bed and have that kind of room service?
argh, i have a long day ahead of me. have to teach a class and then lead a seminar. then i have to grade 90 research proposals and prepare for an 8 a.m. class tomorrow. i can't wait for the weekend! arrrrrgh!
times like these, being a college professor sucks. whoever said that college professors work only 5 hours a week should be throttled.

a lot of my students didn't show up for our afternoon class, and the material i was covering was pretty dry and boring (i almost fell asleep, and i'm the one teaching!). so i played the "evolution of dance" youtube clip halfway through the class for diversion.
i wonder if any of my students go on gaia. i should put up a picture of my avatar on one of my slides and see if anyone goes, "ooh! dr. cardi's on gaia!"
oi, evil shocktv3 lived in the philippines? 'musta?

In case I grow snappy, tearful, or all around random mood swings: Caran goes in for her MRI tomorrow to see if the abnormality they found is a tumor or not. Halloween is going to suck because that when we get the results.

evil shocktv3 BridgeChan Now I'm trying to stay up through a re-showing of the old The Fog to watch Creepshow II. ruined me for life. Now when I see a clown, I seriously go into a fear-spaz and take the faster route away from it. I've actually knocked a person down becuase they wouldn't get out of my way when I was trying to get away from a clown that was quite interested in trying to give me a balloon animal. Hell, I was afraid of popcorn for years becuase of that movie x'D

On the topic of horror movies...if anyone is seeing Saw 4 in theaters, I highly reccomend staying through the credits and listening to the song that plays. ='D It's X JAPAN's first song in ten years and from a preview clip that I heard, it's absolutely rocking. x3 I'm actually going to see the move just so I can hear the song in the credits. >>;
I haven't seen Killer Clowns..., but my "mental breakdown" horror film is The Grudge 2 Director's Cut. I watched it over the summer, and I couldn't sleep at all the following week. It didn't even seem that scary when I watched it, but then it gave me a mortifying waking-nightmare and now black hair sends me into twitching fits. xD

Hell, I was afraid of popcorn for years becuase of that movie x'D psh, that movie was more pathetic than scary. xD hell, it was more funny than scary. but still more pathetic than funny. xD But you weren't forced to watch it when you were 5 by your older cousin that always scared the hell out of you with a scary clown mask when it was dark :'3 Hell, there were numerous nights were she would sit oh-so quietly in front of where I was sleeping until I caught a glimpse of her just as I was drifting in and out of sleep and screamed bloodly murder X'D She certainly got a kick out if it.

i like watching scary ghost movies, but i get too scared afterwards! if only i can have a slumber party with friends, watch scary movies all night long, and sleep with everybody in sleeping bags on the floor. mm...
