Luciano knelt down and looked down at his father; Who was now starting to cough up blood. . This wasn't supposed to happen.
"Papa. . ." Luciano whispered softly, he spoke in Italian, ". . . Can you move your legs?" Ronaldo moved his legs a little bit, then Luciano spoke again, "Very good. . Hold still, alright? Mama is calling for an ambulance. You stay with me, alright?" Ronaldo gently grabbed onto Luciano's Grizzly Hoodie and pulled him a little closer, he said to him, ". . . I'm not going to live, so I need you to listen-" "- Father, don't say that -" "- Luci, listen. . . I can tell I'm not going to live, so please listen to me. . . You will be taken care of. . You have your Grandfather, who loves you so much. . you have your mother. . And you have this beautiful girl. . . You have your whole family, and these people that you have. . ." Luciano tried to hold back tears as his father spoke, but it wasn't working. Luciano shook his head, "You're not dying. . . I promise you will be fine- Listen, Father, I think I can hear the ambulance coming now. . ." He wiped his tears, and then he said, "Father, please. . I need you. . . In the reality I come from, I grew up without a mother and a father. . And now that we are so close, I can't lose that. . . Not again. ."
Michelle couldn't understand what Luciano and his father were saying, but from what she could understand Luciano was pleading for his father to live. She kept pressure on Ronaldo's wound.
". . . Luciano. . . Don't be so worried. . don't be so scared, or angry. . . Instead, be happy. . Stop worrying about what you have to lose,. . ." Ronaldo then began coughing, Luciano wiped the blood from off of the corner of his lips, and Ronaldo spoke again, ". . Seeing the man that you become. . . It makes me smile. . My son is doing good. . . That is what I wanted you to do. . . Keep doing it. . But do me a favour. . . Lose the mask. . . Son, lose the mask. . . Because I can barely see your mother's eyes. . ." Luciano wiped his tears, and ever so slowly he removed his mask, Ronaldo smiled and he whispered, "Yes. . . Your mother's eyes, I can see them. . Those beautiful. . eyes. . ." Ronaldo's voice then trailed off, and his eyes began to close. Luciano shouted, this time in English, "Father!!. . . Father!! Don't do this!! Please!!" Luciano couldn't hold back his tears anymore. He broke down and pulled his father close to him, tightly in his arms. Luciano cried as he cradled his father, "Father!! I love you- Don't do this to me!!" Ronaldo placed his hand on Luciano's cheek and he said in almost a faint whisper, ". . . I love you, son. . . I'm so proud of you. . ." Ronaldo's eyes could then be seen slowly closing, and Luciano felt the exact moment where his father's heart stopped beating.
". . . No," Luciano uttered, "No, no, no, no, no, no! NO!!!!" Luciano cried, and held his father's body against his, "Come back!!! Please come back to me!!!" Luciano didn't care that his father's blood was all over him. He held on for dear life, and he didn't want to let go.
Michelle also started to cry. She slowly crawled over to Luciano and gave him a hug, she whispered softly, ". . . I'm so sorry. ." And Luciano continued to cry harder as he held his father's body in his arms.

Aly sprinted after with Nari retreating form. The girl was still wounded, heck most of them were wounded. However she seemed fine. A few minor scratches and bruises, but nothing to bad. Though that might be from my healing magic, just naturally working on my wounds...no wonder I'm getting tired, she thought as she put in an extra bust of speed to over take Nari.
Reaching the trees, she glanced around one hand ready to create a shield should she need it. Once she was sure that the gunman had moved on from the area, she glanced around any signs of where he might have gone. It was then that she spot a drop of blood, she squinted at it and then tried to see if there was another splotch nearby.
"Hey," she said glancing up from the second splotch to look over at Nari, "I think I found a trail, do you think we should follow it or fall back to the others?"

KD felt useless. She had no way to heal Luciano's father, he was already gone. She stood there watching the whole thing unfold.. so much pain... she hadn't been around this much anguish in many years. She had separated herself from it... but now... as the tears streamed down her face, she remembered when her family was murdered.

Nari straightened up when she heard Aly behind her. 'How did she catch up so fast?' she thought a little surprised. She looked down at the splotch of blood Aly saw and instinctively checked her leg. Her sweats had a long rip covered in dark blood as predicted, but it didn't look too bad. False alarm. "Hmm, if the shooter's that wounded, we should be able to catch him--" Nari stopped short and jumped a little when she heard Luciano screaming again. "...soon. What on earth was that...um, let's go, Aly. We should hurry..." 'I have a bad feeling about this.' She led the way, following the drops of blood on the grass and various bushes. "Looks like the trail is curving, Aly. It's not straight anymore. He started slowing down. Good."

Pen agreed with Koji and took the position on the other side of the house. She was a little lost in thought for though she felt terrible for Luc, she had a hard time understanding what he might be feeling.
She didn't even know what her real parents looked like and her adopted parents had slow, peaceful deaths that she was mourning long before they were gone. Luc, on the other hand, was faced with the chance to save his real parents and lost one of them instantly. The same went for Koji; losing a sibling like that was probably the most traumatic thing he ever face. More and more she thought about it the more she wanted to go home.

The gunman did his best to move faster, but as the girls were watching up, he was almost in a panic. It got to the point where he sat behind a very large log and just sat there. . . until he realized the trail he was leaving behind.
Meanwhile,
The ambulance had just shown up at the house, and by this time Luciano had absolutely nothing to say. To anyone. He wasn't sure how he was going to explain this to his family, or his mother- He let his father die.
Overcome with tremendous guilt, Luciano mumbled, ". . . Let's get out of this time period. . . I'm sick of it."

Koji wandered back to the group after not finding anything suspicious around back and noticed the ambulance arrive. His eyes began to tear up again when he saw Luciano's expression. He knew exactly what he felt right now, and now matter how much he wished he could, he knew there was nothing he could do right now to comfort him.

Luciano sat as far from the scene as possible. Things seemed to be going so slowly now, and all he wanted to do was just leave this time period. He couldn't deal with this anymore.
The paramedics then walked over to Luciano and patched up his shoulder.

Waffle was back to lazing about when she heard the characteristic sound of the portal machine booting up. Tracy, who no one but Sabe saw before, stepped out and stuttered something incoherent to Waffle. Waffle was put off by the fact Tracy seemed to know her but she didn't know Tracy.
"I don't know who you are, but you better learn to speak up clearly real quick," Waffle snarled. The other was still nervous as ever, but made a big effort to comply, "I'm one of the newer workers at the castle, but I work for Sabe, who I'm guessing is your husband." She froze again as she noticed the look on Waffle's face, "There was an agreement between him, me, and the king that I would work at the castle part-time, and the other part of the time working for you and him."
Waffle sighed. She didn't like how she wasn't included in the discussion let alone be introduced to this kid. Tracy didn't appear to her as anything shady, and it did seem that Waffle had full control over her as long as Sabe didn't interfere....which reminded her of where he was.
"Oh yeah, Sabe's downstairs with a broken leg. Get him up here and do something about it."

Meanwhile,
Ari and his son Raph sat in the kitchen when they had heard a knock on the back door. Ari looked over at Raph, Raph shrugged, then Ari got up to answer the door. As soon as he did, he cocked his brow, "Horatio?" "Ari," Horatio let himself in and Ari closed the door.
"What brings you here at. . .," Ari looked at his pocket watch, "Two thirty in the morning?"
"I'd ask you the same, but frankly I don't give a damn why you're here. I have a problem. A big problem." Horatio stuck his head out the back door and he said, "Laura, sweety? Come here please?" Moments later. . . Luciano's mother was in the kitchen.
"Ari! Raph! So good to see you both!" Laura gave both Raph and Ari a hug, and the both of them had horrified looks on their faces, "Uhhh. . . Laura, Darling. It's good to see you, too. . . How long has it been?"
"Hahaha! Only a week! Remember? I had tea with you and Rosalie just last week! Don't tell me your memory is failing you already, Ari?"
"Uh, yes- Will you excuse Horatio and I?"
"Certainly, Gentleman! Raph will be here to keep me company!"
Raph kept his look; He had seen pictures of Luciano's mother, but everyone told her she was dead!
Meanwhile Ari and Horatio went to the side and in loud whispers they spoke while Laura and Raph talked,
"Horatio, why is your DEAD daughter-in-law in Luciano's kitchen?"
"This means something very bad, Ari. . . I don't like this at all. Not at all."
"How did this happen?"
"Would I be here speaking to you if I knew?"
"We have to do something."
"And Luciano is no where to be found; We asked around, and nobody has seen him- or any of his friends, for that matter."
"Not true. Two of his friends are here at the house. They don't know where everyone is either."
Horatio stopped talking for a moment, he pressed his index finger against his bottom lip; He was thinking. The only thing he could come up with was someone had messed with the timeline. . . And the only one who he knew would do such a thing was. . . "Ari, we have to find them. Now."

Pen followed right behind Koji and re-joined the group. With the sound of the ambulance filling the air she wanted to find away to comfort Luc. There was nothing to say, no words of encouragement that might lift their spirits.
She leaned on the gate and hung her head. As she was lost in thought the very thing that caused them so much trouble, rolled to her feet. "Why won't you take us home," she muttered to the device as she step on it.
The cylinder did what it was commanded and the blue light engulfed the gang once again.
Pen fell onto a forest floor right on the edge of a small town. A little community right outside of Durem's most outer limits. The cylinder was her lap and Jade had fallen face down in the ground.
"This is not what I meant home you absurd piece of technology." She would get angry right now but she was too tired to muster the strength. All she did was look out on the little town she grew up in.

Luciano had his face buried in his hands, but when he felt a warm light on him, he slowly lifted his head to see that they were in a different location.
Michelle walked to Luciano and knelt down before him, he looked down at her and she asked, ". . . Are you alright?" Luciano shook his head, then he looked at his surroundings, ". . . So where are we?"

"The outer limits of Durem. We are currently in the forest on the far end of a small rural community." Pen answered with a hint of nostalgia and sighed when she was finished. She looked over at Luc and then slowly looked down.
"I'm sorry..., Bro." Though she couldn't relate to his pain she still felt terrible for him.

Nari sighed. 'All of this family drama...the poor guy,' she thought glumly. The new turn of events, plus the dull throb of her leg, made her a bit uneasy. Just as she was about to sit down, another blue light circled around them. She sighed again, held her dagger far from her body, and waited for her next landing. 'Soft...grass?' she thought surprised and felt the ground with her free hand. After listening to Pen, she asked quietly, "So this is where you grew up?"

Luciano didn't say anything back. Instead he slowly got to his feet; Hoping there wasn't going to be any more gun fights, because he was very low on ammo.
He slowly walked just a couple paces in front of Pen, and then he said, ". . . We should take a look around," He looked straight ahead, "Explore a little bit."
