ZOMG, Im back for like 10 minutes....
INternet at my house has been down since wednesday, using my grandma's dial up right now. Gettin off though, hopefully ill be able to be on again alot soon.

I hate backlog, but I just had to chime back in on this subject. Zero Omega I don't think they have a choice in the matter this time, with the DS you had the choice between the touch pad and the directional pad, so developers could make games that used the directional pad. However, the Revolution controller looks like it has to use the gyroscope to be played. What I also like about the controller, although it's a double-edged sword, it makes games harder to port over to other systems, thus making it easier to keep exclusivity. So, odds are we won't have a repeat of Resident Evil 4. Word. I was entranced with the new doors that this little things open up. When I first saw it with the gyroscope and all, first thing I thought of was lightsaber dueling. You could do baseball, tennis, golf. Sniper sims where how still you hold the controller determines how much screen shake you have to work with. Anyway, that port on the bottom where you plug in the analog pod, I hope Nintendo is smart enough to make it accept the standard 'cube controller or Wavebird boxy thing, that way they dont alienate those who MUST HAVE a controller, or games where you just need a controller or keyboard/mouse.

There might not be anything sexually arousing about the surroundings, but if you have a 5 pound book on your crotch driving to school on the freeway then you really can't control it. There might not be anything sexually arousing about the surroundings, but if you have a 5 pound book on your crotch driving to school on the freeway then you really can't control it. A lot of people were saying a gyroscope would be used, and a number of people were against it saying what the use would be and such, but I still see it as very clever. It only furthers the fact that they are about gameplay, and not high-end specs.
Have you seen the mock-ups (specifically IGN's) of the controller and Wavebird container? I think that's well done and if it is done correctly and if Nintendo and other developers develop games where both can be used, then I have high hopes that Nintendo may steal next-gen out from Sony and Microsoft. Like I told Stream, the only thing Sony has going for me for a PS3 is Metal Gear Solid 4.
