Larai gladly returned the kiss, truly believing that nothing could possibly go wrong from this moment on. Of course, this was probably just her secretly feeling all giddy about marrying Daemon - a man who didn't just treat her like a toy or dump her for another man.

The next morning, Daemon woke up feeling like anyone else the day after a big event and a day of fun and excitement: tired, and extremely comfortable at the moment. He didn't want to get up any time soon, so he snuggled up closer to Larai instead.

Larai had yet to wake up and was already snuggled close to Daemon, seeming ever so caught in bliss with that big sleepy grin plastered on her lips.

He was awake. Daemon knew he was awake, but was in that state where he kept his eyes shut in hopes of returning to dreamland for another couple of hours. This rarely works however, so he reluctantly opened his eyes ever so slightly to smile wearily at Larai. Wrapping his arms around her waist and a wing over her, he held her close in blissful comfort until she was ready to start the day with him.

It didn't take too long for her to awaken, but as was normal for these mornings, she didn't want to wake up. She just wanted to snuggle close and sleep the morning through. They both knew that they couldn't, but it was still something they liked imagining.

"A little longer, I hope. We could probably get away with longer if we claimed we got carried away during sex or something." Larai mumbled in reply, snuggled all the closer as she closed her eyes once more.

Larai simply let herself lay there beside Daemon, pretending like there wasn't a world outside of their bedroom waiting for them. "Exactly. We can just stay here for a little longer. Together. Relaxing."
