*catches the end of the conversation* Oh, Miru's okay. I make sure the lifeguards are in the shade as much as possible, and drink plenty of water.

3nodding -nods at Kits- She does take care of us. 3nodding -hears Rod and gets up to go into the kitchen, accidentally bumping into Mitri as he stands up- S...sorry. redface
-chuckles at Karrie but looks at Kits- Well that's good to know, Kits. biggrin -watches as she goes back into the kitchen and a moment later Rod comes out announcing dinner is ready- Yay! -half-stands up and leans over to Karrie, whispering in his ear- I guess I am more of the biter, anyway. -nips his neck and follows the others into the kitchen- twisted

-takes a seat one down from Mitri, trying not to chuckle darkly- Ooh this looks yummy, guys! What kind of chicken is that?
-has a mini-dilemma about where to sit. If she sat on the empty side of dame, Karrie or Rod would sit beside her. But if she sat on the other side, she'd be sitting beside Mitri redface and might make a fool of herself again. gonk She seems to be warring with two sides of her body before finally settling on the chair in between dame and Mitri- redface -sits and scoots up to the table, eying the options-

*grins and waits for Karrie to sit before taking a seat himself, and reaching over to squeeze Kits hand gently under the table* It's lemon pepper chicken. We also have grilled string beans, roasted garlic potatoes, and french bread. I hope everyone likes it. Kits made a special cheesecake for dessert too. 3nodding *looks at everyone a moment and then grins* Dig in, everyone. xd

-blushes at Mitri's grin- redface -and reaches for a dish as well-
-chuckles at Mitri and Miru and then looks over at Karrie, chuckling that he's beside Rod again. Leans over and whispers to him- You keep this up and I won't know if you just like sittin' beside me or if you like sitting near Rod. twisted wink -giggles and grabs some of the chicken for her plate-

*everybody enjoys the meal, and they sit around the table for a while, chatting. After cleaning up, dame takes Miru home on her bike. Karrie and Mitri offer to walk home with Kits, but she chooses to stay with Rod, since she wasn't going to Aqua Springs early the next morning*

Amy and Thistle were outside in the gardens that surrounded the house. Thistle was looking for the fairies that were lying dormant right now, and Amy was pulling weeds and planting new summer flowers and plants. Occasionally, a fairy would fly out from the bushes as Thistle discovered a sleeping one and would squeak and investigate the bush.
Amy chuckled and shook her head as she planted a pink rose bush. "Thistle... Don't stir them up so much. You want them to play a trick on you or something?"
Thistle squeaked and trotted around Amy and then through more bushes, carefully avoiding the new plants Amy had planted. Amy could tell that she was just so happy and excited to be back in a garden. Amy was lucky that she was wearing her charm that the fairies gave her a year back to ward off the effects of fairy dust since the dust affected her so much.

*he didn't have work today so Kai was free to wander around as he pleased without getting an angry call from a miniature dark elf*
*he typed in Amy's address into his phone so he could use the map it generated for him to find his way there, checking his progress every couple minutes.*
*when he could finally see the house, he put his phone away as he got closer he could see Amy working out in the yard.* Nice day, eh?

Amy finally had the rose bush in the ground and was now putting a stick into the ground next to it and tying the bush around it to help keep it sturdy and straight as it was growing. Then, she heard a familiar voice behind her.
Amy smiled and then turned on her knees and smiled up at Kai. "Hey Kai. Yes, it's a very nice day. Hot, but nice. How are you doing?"
It was at that moment that Thistle heard a voice nearby, a voice that wasn't Amy's. She had her head in a bush looking for more fairies, but the voice had her focus now. It actually sounded somewhat familiar, but she didn't know who it was.
Thistle stuck her head out of the bush and turned to see who the voice belonged to. Her eyes landed on someone she hadn't seen in awhile. Kai! It was Kai! She hadn't seen him in a long time.
Thistle squeaked happily and trotted over to Kai. She lightly nuzzled his leg and squeaked up at him. "Hi!"
Amy laughed and nodded to Thistle. "I see Thistle remembers you, Kai. Oh, and she can talk now, too. She's still learning some words."
