Luciano kept the gun pointed at the Vampire's face while the Vampire kept the blade against his mother's throat, "Don't move, Elf!- Or this woman dies!" Luciano glared at the Vampire and he said, "Let the woman go. It's cowardice to take a woman hostage. ." The Vampire smirked and pressed the blade harder against his mother's throat. "You son of a-"
"- Now, now, just because my mother was a prostitute, did not make her any less of a person. . Drop your weapon."
"Drop yours."
The Vampire glared at Luciano, ". . . Fine. I'll just have to kill her-" Luciano shouted, "ALRIGHT!!! ALRIGHT!!!. . . I'll drop it. . ." Luciano hesitantly dropped his gun to the ground. The Vampire let out an evil cackle, "FOOL!" The Vampire went to quickly slit her throat when Michelle gasped and used her power to quickly take the blade from the Vampire's hand. Just then Luciano's father tackled the Vampire to the ground and shouted, "I'll handle him!! Get her inside!!" Luciano gasped, he quickly dove for his gun, grabbed it, but then suddenly another Vampire jumped from out of the shadows and kicked it out of his hand. Michelle used her power to get the sword, then she plunged it into that Vampire's heart. Meanwhile Luciano's father was becoming overpowered by the Leader. Luciano grabbed his gun again, and shouted to the Leader, "STOP!!!!!. . . Step away from the man, and put your hands behind your back!!" The Vampire stopped, he slowly got up and put his hands behind his back. Michelle put herself in front of Luciano's mother, to keep her protected, and then Luciano stepped close to the Vampire. He was going to shoot him point blank in the back of the head, ". . . You're going to pay dearly for laying a hand on them. ." The Vampire smirked once again, and he said "And you're about to see just how stupid you really are. . ." The Vampire quickly turned around, he took out a nine millimeter pistol. It felt like slow motion that this happened; The Vampire had pulled the trigger. . . And in that instant Luciano threw himself in front of the shots as he screamed at the top of his lungs "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" One bullet missed his neck by an inch, and the other one hit his shoulder. Luciano's mother screamed, and Luciano's father shouted as he tried to get to him, but Michelle held him back. Luciano fell to the ground, holding on to his bleeding shoulder, he looked up at the Vampire and bared his teeth in pain. The blood-sucking fiend was NOT going to get near his parents; He could try, but he would fail. Luciano was going to see to that.

Aly and Nari were doing a good job defeating the horde of vampires despite their lack of people. As Nari worked to stab another vampire in the chest, Nari jumped at the sound of gun shots and a familiar-sounding scream. She quickly recovered from her surprise and finished the vampire off. "That didn't sound good at all. We need to hurry up," she told Aly and continued to slice and stab.

"Right, well...," she trailed off as she engaged with one vampire. While he bore down on her, his fellow attempted to come up behind her. Growling softly, she turned her body, left her leg so that her foot slammed into coward's face and then splayed her hand towards her other opponent freezing the sweat and water on and in his face.
She had only a few moments to breaths, as she saw another wave come through. She really wasn't in the mood, and reached into her pocket to see if she had anything. She slashed at a few oncoming ones, as her fingers brushed against something. Pulling it out, she gave it a quick glance before two vampires that had broken off came at her. A nether gem, an uncharged nether gem. Perfect. A quick way to get this all taken care of this mess, she thought as used magic to propel her forward, giving her enough force to slam hilt deep into his face, while her other hand slammed her chilling magic into the other fools face. As their life slipped from them, she reached again for the gem she had placed back in her pocket and charged it with a bit too much mana and hurled it.
As it went sailing over the heads of the oncoming opponents, she thought about whether her plan would work. Her uncle had always figured that anything with an non-human lifespan, vampires clearly included, had an certain amount of magic/mana aura. As she saw the flare of white from where the stone had landed and could feel the air grow chill, she just hoped none of them were using this magic. She quickly channeled it and then let it out as much of her affinity as possible. The white flash grew out consuming all the vampires. As the flare died off, she looked at the frozen and frost covered forms of her opponent before turning to Nari looking tired and worn out, saying,"I think we've covered this situation. Lets go and hurry..."

KD had taken the head off of a vampire just in time to see Aly use her gem to conjure a amazing display of magic. Everything was such a blur as she watched Aly and Narnia run toward where Luciano... things came into focus as soon as KD saw blood streaming down Luciano's arm. She gasped and ran in his direction.

"Hm, very impressive. Good work. Now let's go," Nari told Aly as she quickly scanned Aly's handiwork. They ran a little distance in the direction of Luciano's scream. Nari flinched every time she ran on her right leg, but she remained silent and only growled quietly to herself every now and then. As they got closer, Nari gasped and whispered loudly, "Quick, disappear behind for those bushes and wait to attack from behind while I distract that vampire from Luciano!" before picking up the pace and sprinting to the area in hopes of making herself the vampire's new target.

Luciano held tightly onto his injury; Everyone froze, and the Vampire kept the gun pointed at him, ". . . Any last words, sir?" Luciano glared. He didn't say a word. Luciano looked right over at Michelle, she froze and looked down at him. What?. . . What's he trying to tell me? Michelle slowly turned her attention back to the Vampire holding the gun, then from the corner of her eye she could see Aly and Nari slowly closing in; Perfect time for a trap. Michelle gave Luciano a subtle nod, then waited for Nari and Aly to get in a bit closer. She was going to get the gun away from him, and hopefully that would mean that Nari and Aly rush in for the attack.
Luciano locked in a stare with the Vampire, "No last words?"
". . . I have no words for a murderer."
"That's hilarious; You just talked. . . Oh well. . ." The Vampire walked closer to Luciano and pressed the barrel against his forehead, "Funny. . . My employer only wanted Mister Brozen dead. . . And their little boy. . . I guess you'll do also. Because once I'm done with you, they're next."
"Over my dead body," It wasn't the first time Luciano had a gun against his forehead. He wasn't afraid whatsoever. But he was afraid for his parents. "You won't even get past the gate." The Vampire smirked, "Young man, d'you not know who I am?. . . I am the one even my own people fear. . . I am the reason why children fear the darkness, the reason why it's never safe to go out after dark. . . Remember that. ."
The entire time that the Vampire was being long-winded, Luciano's father was reaching for his piece. Luciano's mother held tightly to his arm, and Rosemary and Louie were inching closer to Luciano's parents- They also saw what was about to happen. Luciano was aware now of where everyone was, and with that Luciano slowly got to his feet, grunting in pain because of his shoulder. He didn't lose eye contact with the Vampire,
"And d'you know who I am?. . ." Luciano took the Vampire barrel and pressed against his forehead even harder, "I'm the guy that's going to take you down with me. . ." He took a deep breath. Suddenly Michelle shouted, "NOW!!!!!" she used her power to take the gun from the Vampire's hand, Luciano's father fired two rounds, then Rosemary and Louie tackled Luciano's parents onto the grass so they wouldn't be caught in any crossfire. The two rounds that his father shot off hit the Vampire; One bullet to the leg, and the other to the shoulder. Once he went down, he saw Nari and Aly making their way towards him so he tried to limp away. At this point he knew that as powerful as he was, he wasn't going to win this; His men were all taken down, and he was overpowered by a group of unknown Elves.
"Allister, you and I will have a talk after this is over. . ."
Luciano slowly bent over to get his gun then once he got it he walked over to the Vampire, He clenched his jaw and pointed the gun at the Vampire, ". . . This ends here. You're never going to harm another person ever again," Then just before pulling the trigger, in the window he could see a girl about fourteen years old carrying a little boy, who looked to be about four; He knew it was him, he had seen plenty of his baby pictures. . but the girl. . . he had never seen in his life.
While Luciano was distracted for a moment, The Vampire saw this as an opportunity to strike. He pulled out a big knife from his coat and he shouted, "SEE YOU IN HELL, ELF!!!!" Luciano's father fired another round, this one hit the Vampire's wrist. The Vampire let out a loud scream and dropped the knife.
Just before Nari and Aly could jump the Vampire, he shouted, "Mark my words, Elves!! This isn't the last time you see me!! You don't know who you're dealing with!!!" And with that he transformed into a bat, and fluttered away; Leaving a small trail of blood behind him.

"Darn it," she muttered as she watched the small black dirt clot flutter off. However the darn it wasn't so much about the escaping foe, as it was to what the escaping foe meant. This was a disaster, the time stream everything was in jeopardy at this point.
Her exist not included since she had been born at this point, but everything was still at risk. Luciano's entire future was at risk, for instance. Michelle's future was at risk. The entire groups formation was at risk. Heck, she wouldn't be surprised that this one decision would mean the death of a lot more people later in the future. If they ever returned to their present, there was no telling what could happen. In fact they could start disappearing right here. She grinded her teeth, What a mess...I just hope...Well, maybe we'll get luck and this is just a parallel time stream to our own, thus nothing happens in our own...Doubtful, but l can dream can't I. Be the good girl, without changing how the future, our present, turns out. Yeah, miracles are rarities for a reason.

"Oh, drat! Aly and I were so close! Such cowardly, sleazy beasts...." Nari yelled, raised her dagger at the quickly escaping bat, and stomped her right foot in anger. After her little outburst, she quietly gasped and dropped her dagger. 'Ah!! Forgot about that ******* gash!!' She waited a moment before picking up her dagger and briskly walking to Luciano and the others. "Is anyone else injured? Are you going to be okay, Luciano?

"Yeeaah... whatever," Waffle mumbled. She walked down the stairs, passing by Sabe to get to the kitchen. She pulled out a small ice pack from the side door of the freezer and came back. The box in the freezer, now with a purple tentacle starting to poke out, didn't catch her attention.
Waffle handed Sabe the pack. "I don't know what you said to earn that bad a beating, but it must have been stupid," she remarked as she was starting to go up the stairs.
"Could I get some help?" Sabe asked, throwing the obviously useless ice pack in Waffle's direction to the best of his ability. Waffle looked at him like he was stupid, but tried to pull him up. The part of his leg that broke off moved in some other direction and Sabe screeched again. She dropped him like a rock and plainly asked, "What do you want me to do about it? I forgot those good healing spells since the longest time, people at home are probably sick of you needing help, and calling the ER is out of the question. Stay here and I might figure something out."
I don't wanna even bother...don't even know what to do....I'll just take a break for now. Sounds good.
Sabe nodded at her, hoping she'd think of something quick. Waffle just went back up to her room and continued what she was doing earlier.

Pen ran to the scene the minute the vampires fell back. She heard all the ruckus but she along with Jade were holding the group that refused to give in. It was certainly a workout.
Huffing and puffing Pen reunited with the rest of the group. "Is... everything...okay... Bro?" Jade soon followed behind her with a worried stare.

Luciano didn't answer Nari, or Pen, instead he held his shoulder. He looked back to the group and he said, "Let's get them inside. Before anymore come out of nowhere," Just as Luciano got the group moving, with his free hand Luciano took his mother's hand and gently helped her along to the gate.
Suddenly, a loud pop could be heard and Luciano's father collapsed, "RONALDO!!!!!" Luciano's mother screamed, Luciano quickly threw his arms around his mother to shield her from a second shot if there was to be one, and he shouted to the group "FIND OUT WHERE THAT CAME FROM!!! I'LL GET HER INSIDE!!!" Luciano grabbed his mother, and not caring if his shoulder was hurting he picked her up and ran to the gate all the while she cried and shouted her husband's name, "NO!!!! RONALDO!!!! RONALDO! NOO!!!" And meanwhile, Michelle used her body to shield his father's body, ". . . I. . . I c-c-can't. . . F-f-feel. . . my legs. . ." Ronaldo uttered.

The sudden commotion put Nari on high alert. She looked at how the man, Ronaldo, fell and traced the direction that the bullet came from. She turned her back on the others and scanned the area. 'Behind those oak trees?' she thought and didn't hesitate to go find the gunman. Following Luciano's orders, she sprinted off into the trees.

The gunman had seen Nari coming after him, so he darted behind one of the houses and into the wooded area. He was also wounded from when he a previous battle with one of the Elves. Dropping his gun, he limped as fast as he could for cover.
Meanwhile Michelle stayed with Luciano's father. She had never met his parents. It was tragic that this was the first time, and the last time, she would ever be able to speak to his father. . .
". . . F-f-first time I saw him. . I-I didn't know. . the mask covers his face well. . . But his mother and I saw. . . his eyes. . ." Michelle uttered a 'Shh' and said softly, "Don't talk, just relax. We're going to get help for you." Michelle kept pressure on the wound the best that she could, but his father's blood would ooze through her hands. "You're going to be alright. . I promise." Ronaldo looked up at her, his glasses had been knocked off when someone tackled him, but he could see Michelle clearly, ". . . Promise me. . You'll take care of him. . ." Michelle had seen moments like this in the movies, unfortunately this was not a movie, and the movies did this no justice. But she knew that everyone the other person 'Promised' the wounded guy, or girl, always died. They always do.
"Just relax, ok? Don't move so much- Luciano is coming back. He'll be able to help you."
Ronaldo's eyes began to get heavy, ". . . So. . tired. . ." Michelle shook her head, "No, no, no! Stay awake! You have to stay awake, ok? I need to see your eyes!" Ronaldo looked into Michelle's eyes, but his eyes were still getting heavy.
After Luciano helped his mother into the house, he heard the door lock, and when he looked back to the group he could see Michelle over his father trying to stop the bleeding. ". . . Oh no. . ." He said, then quickly ran to the scene.

"Wait up," Pen was about to follow Luc to his dad but was caught by Jade. He held her wrist firmly not saying a word. Confused she looked back at him and freed herself. Looking over where Luc was going she sighed and stood where she was. There was nothing she could do.

The moment Luciano's mother was safe inside, he turned back to make sure the rest of the area was still clear. Everything seemed to be alright, then his eye caught Luciano running to his father's side. His chest tightened as he saw the amount of blood, and the expressions on their faces. Dammit! He thought, shaking his head. He had tried his hardest to make things right, and yet his father was still dieing. Maybe it was impossible to change the past... maybe it could be altered, but not fully changed. But if that were the case.. His mother... she's alone in the house, how do we know one of those vampires isn't trying to get in while she's unguarded?
He moved back towards pen and mentioned to her that he was going to go check around the back of the house as a precaution.
