English is the basterd child of multiple languages mostly of Germanic and Latin decent.
The upper echelon of England and all that was english was french for a great length of time, which is why so many french words are almost the same as the english counterpart.

I never stop, its all basic history anyway. Will t. Conc. and his Frenchies conquered England, and made the Brits, who were conquered by the Germs, French (Normon). It all works out nice and simple.

King William I conquered the backward nation of Britania or what ever they called it back then, and forced his FRENCH way of life on the germanic, latin, celt, and other peasents.

That word was impressive back when it wasnt so used.
Now I just get this 'pfft' Ive heard bigger words thing. And I have too! Look up some complex molecules... single words that stretch half a page...

yay for not beign familiar to the word.
Floccinaucinihilipilification is the longest offical english word. scientific names are latin.

I have no clue what it means, I've forgotten, but I do know that its got a lot of letters and I like to blurt it out to make people look at me funny.
