Streamjumper Yeah, but this is what they brought the forums down for a while ago and just brought guilds down for... it has been in the works for a while. Sort of and not quite. Guilds was down because in addition to the new post types there are some added features as well as systems implimented for future updates. This is Guilds 2.0 and while it's mostly just formatting changes at the moment there are things already in the system that will be usable once things like Guild Housing and Guild Questing become available. There are also lots of things for Guilds themselves that will become available in the next while. Also, Dark was tinkering with a bunch of ideas he wanted to try out with Guilds, most of which aren't ready yet but he's got all sorts of things in the works.

But I'll wait til I've actually used it before I make a proper judgement... I think. sweatdrop I like the look of it, and the sales pitch makes sense. What really impressed me is how apparently easily they applied the controllers....controls to a level of Metroid:Echoes. Anyway, the press who played that FPS with the new controller said its amazingly intuitive. I can imagine it, with the triggers under each index finger, and the gyroscope function in the right hand. The question is, will Nintendo actually apply this innovation to gaming in a catchy, useful way, or will it just sit there and look pretty in the background, ie the DS touchy dual screen. The DS touchy screen sometimes seems like an afterthought when it comes to third-party developed games. Theyre like "Oh crap, we gotta make something for that stupid screen." And if I get started hating on DS, Im gonna end up bashing the lack of recent support and thin library, so Im going to stop, and instead cry because I want to meet you all in Towns, but Im on my parents crappy dial-up. All this wait for guilds, yet no Guild Homes? Tha' heck? confused

I think. sweatdrop I like it, granted the design is completely different from what we are used to as well as the way you use it, but that's what Iwata promised, a "change in the paradigm" and... We got it. xp I've seen a video on how it's used and I must say it does live up to what the the press has said about it. I was a bit iffy about it at first, but after discussing it with a few friends and reading some more information, I can't wait to try it.
