Ahh, my gosh.. *shakes her head in despair* Are all of the doctors out there as inexperienced and niave, as this one is? If so, this may definitely be the time to move. It's positively `inhumane` to force someone to deal with so much idiocy in a day.
My internist, gastroenterologist, and urologist are all top notch. My dentist too for that matter despite my mother's issues with him she makes up in her head. The problematic ones are the ones at the clinics and hospitals. But you get what you pay for and that is the biggest problem, getting anything paid for at all. My parents are in a tug of war over finances and I am, as usual, at the bottom of the list. I have had reflux problems my entire life and it runs really strong on my father's side, so there is a definite tendency to wave it off. About 3 months ago it started getting a lot worse and the vomiting blood started so I put pressure to get me checked out. I got one gastro appointment and a contrast scan because that was the cheapest option, not the best. A few days later, I started getting sick and here I am. What made this different was the quantity, about 3 to 4 cups instead of maybe enough to fill a shot glass, coupled with the headache, fever. loss of muscle control, et cetera.
The consensus is definitely hospital for the most part. Ross' thing was dump me in cold water, see if I could be cooled down and stabilized, then hospital immediately or doctor in the morning. I thought the concept of getting in to see your actual doctor on the next day was an insane luxury, I am used to calling and the earliest I can get in is a week from then. Maybe it is a Florida thing? All the old peepers. If you tell your patient you can schedule them for a week, they die from it 3 days before they see you.
What's worse though now is that my mother tacked $950 onto my scan bill without my knowledge. My father called the radiologist, got the actual cost, and came unglued at me and is using that as the reason to deny any more expenses. Then because she was found out, the $950 she was taking to buy a cat, she had to spend on a purse, so she's pretty pissed at me over that and is demanding that I give her $950 which I don't have because my father stole it before he left for Montana on this trip.

A poison control unit should've been contacted immediately, upon which they would've come directly to your house posthaste. And yes, Exxos, whether they're karma or brownie points, you've definitely earned your fair share of 'em and then some.
I need at least some merit badges for not dying horribly. Another for living to 31 with all my fingers. Heh.

*does a little YMCA- ish dance, but instead with the letters AGA* Ahh, hey, it actually works! ^o^
*Cringes at the G* I am not sure if I should be aroused or mildly repulsed... A spinal column is not intended to flex that way...
