Layton flew up into the air, a little delayed but still. The snow had caught him off guard. He frowned as he saw one of the Slytherin beaters making what seemed like a personal vendetta against him before he even had a chance to catch his bearings. She had gotten lucky once and smashed one into him, but it looked like she was on her last leg. Looking around for the snitch, he sighed. This was gonna be damn near impossible.

Although Layton couldn't see the snitch, he could see that Evander could, which was not good. He looked harder in his direction, hoping he'd be able to catch a lucky break.

With a snort, Camila had to wipe the slush away from her goggles as she circled overhead. Of course it had to be bloody snowing, how else could she had made such a terrible throw? Tensing her jaw, she swooped down on the captain that had finally decided to grace the game with her presence and swerved in closer to Cathy for a steal.

Regaining control of the quaffle, she guarded it tight against her belly and whipped back around through the freezing winds. Her hair was wet, and her uniform was damp and heavy; she wasn't sure how much longer her fingers would survive, even in these gloves.
