Alright. My idea is a simple one. Make a massive and gigantic Medieval fantasy roleplay universe. Give details on races, places, the magic, so on and so forth.

I mean reading through the past posts, you guys were doing very well to create a diverse world, it just seems it never properly executed.

But if we work hard enough on it I think we can think of a rather epic tale.

I think the main issue is that we need a massive conflict. Something that encompasses all the universe, planes and whatnot.

OR, we could simply focus on a more sword and sorcery conflict. Make up themes in the world around them, but focus more on character goals then global ones.

The scar faced Skallteiss murdered and raped her mother, now she is on a quest for revenge, and more people get drawn in along the way kind of stuff. Make it like an oldschool "Tavern" style, only expand it to "Universe" style.

Understanding that there are layers upon layers of dimentions and planes and levels people can fade in and out of worlds, "Multiverse" is a term often used. One can fall through a door that leads them to a world inhabited only by lizard cats. Or fall into a mirror world where there is a major difference. Have people meet up at an interstellar/dimensional Hub to learn of missions, hidden treasures, bounties, things of that nature. So people can go on different adventures with different people, one quest they earn a magic sword, then they can go hang out with some other people and there they are cursed with the foresight of a dead god. Then they go off with someone else...

I really like the collaborative effort to create new things, people create their own races, histories, all of it can add together to create a giant encyclopedia. I think it would be interesting if we could actually get people to do stuff....

Honestly I think Em has been on the proboard sites just as long as I have. Which is one of the reason I always add her to all my areas- guilds, sites, ect.

So i actually might have made some friends outside of the virtual world. They want me to play DnD with them. They asked if I was good at making up stories. I laughed and said but of course. So they asked if i would make up a plot.

Soooooooo far I have Two interdimensional Reptilian alienoids who worship a mindraping ascended god-abomination have begun dinking around in the Underdark "Strange s**t brews beneath the crust..." and have created a mind cult lead by a Myconid-Illithid hybrid monster that has sent all the denizens of the underdark into a massive hallucinatory spree of death worship and chaos, even the gods beneath that dark realm are affected by the spores, this spewing forth pseudo realities that take place within the mind where nothing is what it seems and entire universes can be found within a single chamber. Armies of drow, deep gnomes, dark dwarfs are all held in sway creating sacrificial cults that hold no allegiance to race or creed. Abberations sprout from the corpses of the dead and as the body count rises the beast beyond the veil grows ever closer, and his followers grow ever more manifest in this world. His very presence brings with it madness and decay, as the physics of the universe begin to bend, crumble, and break ushering a new era of death.
