(in the heat of battle Ashley would tone it out....plus the smell would have dissipated a bit through the hotel after a bit of time....)
"Then you don't know us very well" Ashley said as she slashed one of her claws at Alex's face, the one not holding down his gun arm.

Ashley coughed a little but continued to hold onto Alex and slashed at his face again.

alex put his head to the floor just in time to only get a shallow cut on his cheek. he kept pushing on ashley, putting all his strength into it.

Ashley's gut started to hurt a little, but she continued slashing at Alex.

all the slash did was cut through his double layer denim jeans and give him a small cut on his leg, but he kept pushing like all hell.
((ok and shouldnt ashley be just about falling off by now?))

alex got hit in the face but pulled his left arm in as ashley has her paw off it and went to punch her square in her neck.

Ashley moved her neck a little so she got a shot in the jaw, and staggered off of Alex shaking her head a little.
