A door appears, and MoT walks out of it and into the HQ. He adjusts his sunglasses as he looks around and asks, "Anyone here?"

Me: Slow, though it wasn't too unexpected due to the end of spring and beginning of summer. So what journeys have you had since you've been gone quite a while?

"Many," MoT said. "In fact, I've just finished putting together a timeline of my activity and journeys. But as of late, that is, within the past two years or so, I haven't done anything. But I'm here mostly because I had to retrace my steps and go back to where I had been, and Team Aqua was one of those places. Although I never was formally a member, I do closely associate with it since many of my old friends were members of Aqua."
MoT looked at the dust and the rest of the HQ before continuing, "What about you? Surely you haven't simply been left alone in this place?"

Me: It was worse at the time of the great move to Gaia. Nope, its just been a prolonged struggle against super genetically modified Pokemon. Its a shame how often that happens really. Currently Archie has a Mewtwo with Kyogre and Arceus DNA. Not fun.

"Doesn't sound like it," MoT replied. "Power! So alluring and so easy to abuse. I've certainly learned that about myself in relation to it. I've had to move on from seeking power, for my own health's sake. Admittedly, I have not kept up with the world of Pokémon, which is a shame because it may make you and others wonder why I'm wandering around here. Alas, it's not because of Pokémon itself but because this world has been part of my world, or perhaps it's the other way around. And that fact is eternally embedded into reality and history. I have to respect that.
"Anyway, enough of my rambling. I do hope this situation that Aqua faces against Archie resolves well. Who is in charge of Aqua? How are its members?"

Me: I'm still leading... Duff tried for a while, but couldn't keep it up. Where for me, I try to keep this place active, but its challenging when you're the only one around for days.

"See ya. Sleep well. Nice talking," MoT said, waving as Brian walked away to his room. A door appeared, which MoT opened, walked through, and closed behind him. After it closed, the door disappeared, and MoT was nowhere to be seen.

Ren and Kasumi wander into the base, looking around to see if the place had changed at all. They'd been away for a while because things had been slow and it seemed a good time to take a vacation, but they and their pokemon were back and they were ready for some action.
