Cabron LaSwan Skaeryll Supersephiroth7 Skaeryll So my Mafian RPG thing is pretty much a mix of Final Fantasy(1 & 4), Goemons Great Adventure, and Legend of Zelda. please elaborate good sir. Well cause like the party members get class changes through the plot like they do in Final Fantasy 1, you get a 5 character party like in FF4, There will(hopefully) be 4 player co-op play like in GGA, and it'd be a full action adventure game like LoZ. @Cabron: To bad. Not happening. Then it's not like GGA at all, seeing as you can only play two-player on GGA; a four-player setup wouldn't be able to make it past the second castle since half of the playable characters can't swim.
...And if it's going to play like an action-adventure it's probably not going to classify as an RPG either. xd You can play GGA with 4 people I've done it before.

From what I remember GGA was 2 player co-op not four

Do me a favor and hunt down some evidence for me, then? I ain't callin you a liar; we all mis-remember s**t. For the longest time I forgot there was a final boss in FF5 beyond Gilgamesh*.

For the longest time I forgot there was a final boss in FF5 beyond Gilgamesh*. *My favorite character in the series. I don't remember how to though... all I remember was that yeah you couldn't play through the entire game and in fact... player 3 and 4 get kicked when you left the area they joined in at.

I don't remember how to though... all I remember was that yeah you couldn't play through the entire game and in fact... player 3 and 4 get kicked when you left the area they joined in at. I played this game for a solid hour after school nearly every day of my life between the ages of 9 and 12 with three other people and four controllers, and we had to take turns because it is impossible to play 4p co-op on that game.
The interface is even set up for multiplayer when you're solo, and it only ever has room for two people.
Are you sure you're not thinking of the Gauntlet game for the '64 instead?
Cause that one was 4p. In fact, I think the Gauntlet games have always gone up to 4p, though I wouldn't know since I didn't really like that series as much.
