Mira moaned to herself as she was hit by the very bludger she was trying to hit... again... Honestly how many games was she going to start like this... Giving a light sigh, the sixth year brushed it off and attempted to take aim at Layton again. Hopefully this time she'd actually hit the bloody bludger.

Snarling, Camila huffed and puffed at having lost the quaffle so easily. Hufflepuff wasn't going to get away with this. She won't let them score; she refuses. Determined to prove her worth as a better chaser and captain than Cathy, she kicked it into high gear hoping to nick the quaffle back into her arms.
Breathing a small sigh of relief, she hugged the red ball against her belly and curled herself into it for defense. Then she sliced through snowflakes headed for the goals.

Gah, could someone shield her? Rider snarled when she lost the quaffle, turning to try and steal the quaffle back. She couldn't let Slytherin just walk away with it... well, in this case fly... She reached out to snatch the ball back.

Thrusting her weight in one full swoop, she barrel rolled to avoid the steal attempt from Rider. Frozen fingers clung to the quaffle in one hand, while the numb fingers on her broom handle steered her on for the goals.

Despite the frosty weather, he was grinning like mad. So far, he and Mira were knocking bludgers back and forth with precision, and since Evander was still somewhere hiding up above, Tristan could only assume he was hot after the snitch. Quickly though, he noticed his captain rushing into to try and score and figured it was a good chance to help out. Lining up the aim for their keeper, Lionel, he swung hard.

Rider could have cursed if she was inclined to do so. But she definitely had the urge to do so. She leaned forward and pushed her broom, catching up to Camilla. She tried to steal again, determined to not make this an easy trip to the goal posts.

There was one hit... Now if she could hit Chase. Taking a breath, Mira found the beater on the field before sending a hit for. Hopefully that one would hit too. Since she was a force to be reckoned with, specially if she got a few hits in.

She hissed in pain but ignored it when she saw a bludger headed straight for Zeph. She swung into action, shooting infront of him and swinging, attempting to stop the bludger and aiming it at Mira

Beaters and chasers were scattered, he heard the knock of bludgers and had to spin around to find the source. Rushing forward, he hoped to defend Mira and redirect the bludger at Chase instead.

Zeph Zeph heard the whistle of a bludger before a thwack of it being knocked away. He glanced back, then winced as Chase got hit with a bludger. Well then, this was getting brutal already. He flew over to Layton, seeing a bludger heading toward him and swung, aiming at Tristan.
