Aly felt breath knock out of her as her back smack hard against the ground. There was no tree, no soft grass or dirt. Metal, it had to be metal to hurt this badly. Blinking spot from her eyes, she tried to regain her bearing. That was when the black slate of the floor came into view. The familiar runes, Ancient Rune, from a time where day light never tough her family's skin.

Pushing herself up, she tired to remember what happened. Her hand trembled and already she feel herself getting tired. She shook as her eyes took in the curved walls the domed ceiling that didn't seem to end. All black, with blood read runes scrolled over their surfaces. Some had activated, I activated them, she thought as the memory of her reaching for the stupid time device. She must have touched it. Her eyes scanned for it frantically searching, We can't stay here! We have to get out!

Turning around, she found herself staring down the black slate, rune etched tunnel. The slanted tunnel, where she could feel the terrible auras of things that were best left unseen and untouched. For a moment she stood there. She could hear Luciano's question, but ignored it as a terrible idea dawned on her. "CURSE IT ALL!" she screamed and turned.

She turned and ran nearly stumbling to the only place where the black didn't touch. Two large silver door, with the Crescent family symbol, a crescent and surrounded by nine circles, was studded in a blue jewel. Desperately she tried to pry the door open with her hands, but not even her nails could get into the thin creak. "No, no, no," she cried desperately scabbling at the doors with her fingers. "Think Aly, think. Mana controlled doors...right. Gah, no. So long as it is in the air...I can't get it open. The only way to do so...is in the main chamber. Spirits Darn!"

She banged on the doors, and then finally thumped her head against it. No one in the room could handle was going on, she bet no one was even feeling the effects. No one, but her. She could hear some one questioning her, but she ignore them in favor of thinking. Taking deep even breaths, she built up her magical aura shield. Then spoke her thoughts out loud, "Right, we're currently in my family's Summoning chamber. If I remember correctly, there should be a...yes, it should be here."

She walked over to a what looked like a smooth piece slate. Standing before it, she took a deep breath and then raised her hand, where a spiral of red mist seemed to collect. Before anyone could really give it a defined shape, she pressed it against the blank slate slate. There, the same Crescent symbol appeared, but this time in blood red. Slowly a creak in the slate appeared and the door gave way under Aly's palm. She walked in saying over her shoulder in a dead dry voice, "I suggest you all follow me, the runes on the walls won't absorb the dangers forever and I need to get you armed if we want to get that dratted device back."

Aly had walked into what looked like a large walk in closet, but instead of the clothes and shoes, there was armor, swords, blades of all sorts, and odd large white gems. She had just opened a draw neared the door when she heard Luciano speak. For a moment she said nothing, only pushed her short hair back with a shaking arm.

"Where: We are currently in the Summoning Chambers. A section of Crescent Tower in Durem, which serves as a base of operation for all nether world connect. Or at least it did before we closed and moved it. It was the only legally working on in the city," she said in an empty before turning back to the draw. Rummaging through, she eventually pulled out two gauntlets, both carried large crystals set into the forearm. Putting them on she continued,"The when...Well the precise date and time is something I purposely blank out. I would guess10 possible more years for our present. I don't like to mark to..this day."

She reached out a arm waving it in a half circle. At the hight of it, a red mist had formed, if one focused they could see a worm like shape, she said in a slightly shaker voice, "As for what is going on...well at this moment, since there aren't demons wondering the pathways yet."

She glanced towards the ramp leading further into the chamber. Then she continued in a dead voice, "My guess is, that I'm currently struggling with the gate I've opened and that the 50 odd people in the area are currently either succumbing to or fighting off the nether spirits that are currently filling the air around us. We should starting hearing the first screams soon..."

She trailed off, her red eyes glossed over as if her mind was off woolgathering memories. Then she snapped out it for a moment she touched her as if fearful that there would be a second pair of eyes or a jagged mouth forming, then she sighed and sounding more like she was muttering out loud she continued, "We should be fine for now, since the runes on the wall should be absorbing the spirits here...However I fear the device is..is..isn't here. It must have gone down the ramp to the lower levels of the chamber. With luck it would have stopped at level one or it could be bad and had gone all the way down to nine, either way we...we should...We will nee..need gear, tools to handle this...I can hear a scream now."

There was a distant wail and growl, followed by a fearful scream before it was cut off. She turned back towards the opened closet muttering, "Yes, gear."

Luciano grunted. He had a zero patience right now, and the fact that Aly had lost the device- their only means of getting out of this time period- wasn't helping right now. Luciano clenched his jaw, he said, "Fine. Then we find it. Take us down there. Now." Luciano wasn't afraid. In fact, he was more annoyed than afraid. He had been through a similar ordeal to this- He remembered that one Halloween where the group attended a party at this abandoned Mental Hospital turned Prison, it was there they fought things that not even Waffle had seen. This situation wasn't a surprise.
Luciano made sure his modified revolvers were completely loaded; Since the only ammo he had was in those two guns, he knew he had to be very careful with how he shot, and to make them count. Luciano said to the group, "Alright. Obviously we can't split up because we don't know the terrain at all," He put his guns back in his holsters, which were located inside of his Grizzly Hoodie, and he said, "So. This is why we're going to keep a tight formation; Watch each other's backs, and stay very alert. VERY alert. If the situation is as bad as Aly says it is, then none of us can afford to be afraid. We must remain calm at all times."
Luciano took out one of his guns, and he said "Now move. Aly, to the front of the line."

KD had been out of it since they went to her past but snapped out of it when Aly explained the situation they were in. She took out her compass and placed the red stone in its pocket. She also went over and found a large sword and took it off the wall. She said nothing, but did things methodically, eyes wide and waited for the group to move.

Sabe shut the freezer door after he rearranged half of the stuff in there to make room for the boxed octopus, having thrown out food made unpalatable from freezer-burn and passed expiration dates. As he strolled out of the kitchen, there was a knock on the door. He answered the door to see that Waffle came back. Sabe let her in and involuntarily hugged her before slinking away, still not saying a word.

Waffle was still confused by his deliberate silence, especially since he would pretend she didn't exist and then show some (nonverbal) affection. What a puzzle.

She didn't pay attention to the new elf for the longest time, but she stole a glance at her as she walked by. More new people?

Aly kept her eyes trained on the sloped floor before them as they head down. She prayed that a flash of silver or even the sound of it clinking along as it rolled would reach one of her senses. However all she could feel was dragging sensation in her gut, telling her that she was tired and the sounds of distant growls, screams of pain, and garbled sounds of things consuming flesh. She shuddered, thinking of what it had been like down in the 9th level.

Focus! This is no time for memory lane, she thought sighing and brushing her hair useless from her forehead. She was just about to give another sigh, when she hearing picked up another sounds, a closer sound. She realized the the floor was leveling out and they had reached the first level. She should have been scouring the floor for the device, but instead her eyes were suck on the 7 slowly shuffling forms drawing close to them.

So this is what happened to my cousins...I had hoped, she snapped out of her thought as she notice them speed towards them. She raised her rapier and said, Be careful not to be bitten."

She then ducked and slashed from under at the creature before.

Nari was extremely disoriented at the gang's next arrival in time, but she snapped out of it after slapping herself a few times. Following Aly's plan, she grabbed a two-prongued spear and a dagger. She ripped a hole in the right side of her sweats and sheathed her dagger there. If what Aly was saying and what she was hearing above was all true, she was about to be in some very tight situations. She placed the gem Aly gave her in her bra. 'Normally wouldn't do this, but desperate times. I cannot afford to lose this jewel.' As they walked, Nari saw figures in the distance. Something about them looked wrong, and Nari tensed. 'Okay...zombies, monsters, demonic forces, another gang lost down here. I think I like that idea better than the rest...Ohhh, boy...that's not another gang....' Nari sighed and gripped her spear tighter, waiting for her cue to fight. 'Concentrate on your speed. Keep your distance until you have an opening...' she thought over and over until she was fully focused, ready to strike.

KD was about 20 feet from where the group was fighting. Two of the dark creatures were coming toward her. She kept her cool and got her sword ready. One of the creatures lunged at her, and she jabbed it in the stomach, it skeeched and backed away. The second creature came closer its eyes glowing bright red. She focused her eyes right on its eyes, hers almost glowing blue before she leap in the air and landed with sword down on the neck of the second creature, as she pulled the sword out the first creature threw its self toward her. In one graceful slice she removed its head.
