*cross stands and strtches then studies himself in the mirror behind the bar... he mutters something under his breath about needing to trim his goatee then spins back around and takes another hard swallow of rum before leaning back to contemplate the neer ending void that makes up the Brink's Ceiling.*

*Cross slowly shuts his eyes and begins to snore.... half seated in his stool, half sprawled backwards over the bar*

*Tavin walks in from the guest rooms, yawning. He looks at Cross and shakes his head*
That's the right idea, for certain.

A neko appeared standing just on the right hand side of the bar. Not even noticing where she was for a few seconds, she brushed her fingers through her hair, one ear twitching just lightly.
"Hm..." with a flick of her rather large tail, Robyn suddenly realised where she was, turning on her heel to gaze around the place. Well, long time no see.

*Tavin poked at the sleeping pirate, cautiously*
Hey...... Hey....... You shouldn't sleep here. Its bad for your back.

Seeing Tavin, the young woman crept up behind him, standing just behind him infront of the pirate who appeared to be snoozing quite happily. Half wanting to tackle pounce her husband, she stayed standing behind him, one arm crossed over another.
"Too true, sleeping on chairs isn't good for the persons back, or the chair to talk off the point." She spoke with a smile, the white tip of her tail flicking too and fro behind her.

Ah, but this one has a back built on the sea. He's slept in rougher accomadations, to be sure, my darling.
*Tavin turned around and smiled*
I was beginning to think that I was doomed to an existance without you, my dear. Are you okay? The kids?

"I'm fine, and the kids? Argueing like crazy, they take it after my brother. Alex just won't stop stealing Thea's toys and the other way around..." Spooling off the few words that she did speak like a tape measure, Robyn wafted one hand idly in the air. The glasses resting on her nose slipping right down, almost as if they were far too big for her, which they were.
"But, more to the point, how are you?" She questioned, taking one final step forward to throw her arms around his neck. Standing up on her tip toes, she couldn't quite manage to kiss his chin. Not to be detered, she half jumped into the air, landing a soft kiss on her husbands chin.

*Tavin grinned and leaned down to plant a gentle kiss on his wife's forehead*
Things are difficult here. Its very dangerous right now, especially with The Seraphim. He's getting stronger, and bolder.

"I won't say much on the matter...but, take care.." The neko muttered, biting down hard onto her lip. She hated to say it, but there wasn't much she could do, it wasn't like arriving at the brink had become a regular thing. Well, not like it had been a very long time ago.
"Maybe this is being a little selfish....but, will you come home one day?" She questioned, not wanting to hear too much about the dangers of the brink. Maybe she was being a tad stupid, but Robyn didn't want to have to physically drag Tavin back with her just to make sure he was safe. To be honest, she didn't even know if she could.

*Tavin looked down at the ground, distraught*
I... don't know if I can........ But if I can, there's no place that I would rather be... Than with you and the kids.

"Maybe one day....They keep asking after you," She started, reaching up to rest her palm under his chin, slowly pushing his gaze away from the floor and back towards her. A soft smile tweaked on her lips, stroking her thumb gently over his cheek bone, large white tipped ears flicking back to press against her long brown hair.
"I'll wait forever if I have to. One day you'll come home...once this is all over, if it is ever over?" Robyn could only guess what had been happening, but something deep down told her that maybe one day - well, that was her gut feeling, whether that was to be true or not was a completly different matter. She barely knew what to say, without much knowledge of what had been going on she could only murmer her praises on the matter. Well, isn't that what she always did anyway?

*Tavin opened his mouth, but didn't know what to say. After a moment, he smiled and shook his head, holding her hand and leading her over to a table, offering her a seat*
You know... Alexander has been coming into The Brink from time to time. He's older. A young man.

Perching on the edge of the seat she offered, the woman blinked a little rapidly. Her baby coming to the brink, but, he was what? Four - and now she was being told he was coming to the brink as a young man? Her tail flicked right around to press up against her ankle, both ears flattenening back against her head.
"A young man? But how, he only turned 4 last month. And why would be be brinking in....theres no reports of Thea coming in yet?" She had a thousand and one questions to ask, well, might as well start at the start.

If Thea has been coming in, I have had no knowledge of it. But Alex has been, but not frequently. The Brink isn't connected to time, darling, and as such, can intersect and pull from many parts of time. Past, present, and future.
