Paradox sat quietly in the rain and thunder. That is to say, people who skittered across the street only saw a statue in the pounding rain. The general didn't twitch the slightest muscle, seeming one with his surroundings, except the rain. The water simply poured over him, finding every nook and cranny as it often did, and then slid off as gravity pulled it ever downward.

Serenity was in the castle looking out at the pathetically rainy day. She had been stuck inside all day because of her bodyguards ever present warnings.

(Well, that's pretty good for me then. I have been super busy as of late.

The light of the moon dances around along the shore of the ever alive sea. A glisten of life dances along the sands as crabs and other creatures move along in the safety of the moons light gathering certain items or hunting for food. One tiny black crab moves along the sand, his pincers and claws digging for small bugs or flesh of dead fish thats been left behind thanks to the sea gulls, but this crabs life is cut short in a sickening crushing noise as what appears a light black leather boot slams down onto its frail body. The moons light slowly seems to uncover this persons darkness, to only reveal it is two people side by side standing in the glory of the moon light. Armor can be seen now as its rusty horrid features begin to show. Hair travels down the seemingly female chest plate stopping at the fourth rib on her right side. The hair is cut short that seems to only rest over that sides over her face , this apparent womans armor is horrid and jagged keeping the same rust look over her chest piece, thigh guards and shin guards. It seems not all light can pierce darkness as the face of this woman is shrouded still but only partially, the red rose rips resembling blood stretch with a small smirk showing her decently white teeth "So, it is true." Her voice sparked as she grinned, it was high pitched but not unpleasant just in the range of a teenage sounding girl. The person behind her was still shrouded in darkness casted by her shadow but...the persons voice was very deep "This is where we will meet the rest of the nine." It spoke "And finally end this once and for all."

Matachi woke with slight jump after a small nightmare hes been having. He scanned the room abit as his vision cleared from the sleepy body that still attacked him with the thoughts of returning to the peaceful slumber. Of course he wasn't gonna go back to bed so with a quick flip up of the blankets he swung his feet around planting them on the cold stone ground which made him nearly jump again.

Matachi came down shortly after they had entered the main hall, he was pulling his tunic down over his head as he walked down the steps "What did you find and where are the rest?" He asked as he finally pulled his tunic down reaching the final step with a pop of his thin boots hitting the stone. Matachi looked at them for abit before moving over towards the throne. A royal guard still stood right outside Katherines room but he was the only guard there.

The men bowed to him quickly and then he looked up to him careful not to look directly at him. "The others were found, the woods seem to be a live with creatures sire. They have two camps now to the west and north, there numbers have grown considerably, there is worse news, a number or the vinyards have been destroyed. A number of villeges have also been set to flame the men were killed and most of the women and children were kept for slaves."
