Ryuji and Lacuna appeared by the pond, his arms still tight around her body. He smiled warmly, looking to her.

Lacuna kept her eyes closed tight as they appeared. She had been teleported before, but it always made her nervous.

You were right, Ryuji started, turning to face the water, keeping an arm around Lacuna. It's very pretty here.

Lacuna opened one eye and then both with a smile as she turned her focus from Ryuji's arms to the water. "Yeah, I think it's wonderful here..", she said steping close to the water to get a clearer view of the fish swimming in it.

Ryuji followed her, stepping forward. He leaned over to see all the fishes, smiling faintly. He had never been this happy for this long amount of time. He was adjusting to the changes, and resisting the urge to kiss Lacuna. Instead, he slipped a hand in hers, giving it a light squeeze.

Lacuna smiled and sat down beside the pond. She took Ryu's hand and tugged on it a little, gesturing for him to sit beside her. Lacuna took her boots off and stuck her feet into the cool water to watch some of the fish swim off in a hurry. "Thanks for coming here with me Ryu", she said.

You're welcome, Ryuji said before sitting beside Lacuna, scooting very close to her as he kept his hand in hers. What's on your mind? he asked curiously.

Lacuna shrugged, "Honestly?", she began, "This whole couple thing. It just surprises me that you even liked me. I'm certainly glad you came wandering through my apartment." Lacuna bit her lip, "We should go back and get the rest of my things sometimes, I only took a bag of valuables, but I still have some extra clothes and things of that sort that I left.. I'm not sure it's worth risking an accidental reunion with Jakkin and Suru and the rest of 'em." Lacuna tossed a smal rock into the pond with her free hand and leaned into Ryuji comfortabley. "Just don't know", she said.

Ryuji kept a straight face, moving his arms tight around Lacuna, to hold her closely, and protectively to himself. I do like you, I like you a lot. I'm the lucky one, someone as gorgeous of you doesn't fall me for me all the time... my last relationship... that failed because of me. I guess you could say I was tired of only being around those I was born around. I felt restricted, and unhappy... but then I met you... he said, taking a deep breath before planting a soft kiss on her ear. And now I know what happiness is like. We can go back whenever you want to, to get your things...I won't let them do or say anything to you...

Lacuna sighed and nodded dreading the thought all the same. She looked up at Ryu and blew a kiss to him with a giggle. Lacuna removed her socks and a few necklaces around her neck. With a sheepish grin she jumped into the pond, splashing Ryu some as she did so.

Swimming with the fishes, eh? Ryuji laughed, moving his hands to splash at her, yet not daring to go into the water. He looked at her for a long moment.

Lacuna nodded, her hair wet from the water. "I love the water", she said dipping her head under for a moment. "Come swim with me, p-p-pleeease?", she asked with a pouty look upon her face.
