Hecate made a sort of pouty face towards him. "Why not Cal it's just a demonstration and there's no other humans around here." She looked around trying to figure out how to start. "We could always start by actually doing it but we have to find some humans." She couldn't really think of anyone else but Cal for the job.

Cal saw her looking in his direction, then he looked around, seeing if anyone else was around.."Oh come on.." He said, pouting his lips and crossing his arms. "Alright...someone demonstrate...Dont kill me..."He said, un-crossing his arms and standing there looking bored.

Hecate laughed a little then took a step towards him. "Allright Aine. One thing you must remember about humans is you cannot take anything from them without permission." She watched Cal intensely studying him. "So in order for me to feed off of him he has to say it's okay." A devilish smile went across her face. "Humans wouldn't normally let us do this unless they were crazy. But us vampires have persuasion. If I wanted I could make Cal beg me to kill him."

"No begging needed for the vampires though, right Hecate?" he said, cracking an idiot smile, then backing away a little. That smirk Hecate had on her face was worrying him.."No R rated material in front of the newbie.."Cal said, adding a 'tsktsk'.

Hecate gave out a laugh. "Your mind has clearly gone to the gutter unless you're taking about gore." She turned back to Aine. "The key to our persausion is in our eyes. If a human looks into them they're as good as dead." She turned back to Cal quickly and locked her gaze with his giving him no chance to look away. "Our will is stronger than any human's." Her gaze started to pierce into his mind. She raised a hand and signalled him to come over.

Cal smiled, "Both.."he said before they locked eyes...Great, now Im a zombie, he thought for her to hear as he walked towards her, not controlling himself. She was telling him to do this.. Now don't kill me, he thought to her, deciding not to fight it..He must look like he's brainwashed...

"Your ability to read minds is always a plus. Scents help also. I can smell every emotion running through him." When he got close enough she grabbed the back of his head and pulled it back exposing his neck. "Right now he's terrified of me." She lowered down closer to him. "What is wrong Cal? Are you afraid of me? Or are you feeling something else." She whispered to him teasing him. "The whole thing is hard to do at first but you will get used to it and soon you will even enjoy it."

Cal's hands went to her shoulders, "Alright dont play games now.."He said, fear sounding in his voice. You never knew what hecate was going to do. She was pretty unpredictable. But she was so unpredictable that she was almost predictable..

Hecate laughed sadistically. "You see he's as good as dead now." She reached down and nipped at his neck not enough to puncture the skin though. "It is the fear that our kind feeds off of. We like to play with our food before we kill it. The more fear we get from it the better." She kissed his neck softly then let him go. "Please don't look at me like that anymore Cal."

She was silent a moment. "That look of fear...It is different when it comes from you and it messes me up." Hecate stared at him coldly. "One side makes me feel guilt and sorry and the other wants me to rip out your throat." She was quite blunt with it but that was the only way to act. "I have never felt guilty for feeding off of someone expect with you."

Cal set his lips in a flat line, understanding what she meant. "I won't do it again.."he said, meaning it. He knew he shouldnt fear her, but at the same time he had to...She could just kill him like that...

She stepped closer to him and grabbed his shoulders. "That's not a good enough reason Cal. Just because I am what I am doesn't mean I would ruthlessly slaughter you. I have control over my urges." She felt hurt. It was hard loving someone who was constantly fearful of you. "Any human can kill another human. Why is it you just don't trust me?"

Cal bit his lip, but it just burst out. "Because you did it before Hecate!"He said loudly back to her, pulling away from her, his expression angry and almost hurt. "You did lose control.You did kill me. And I had to bite you to get you off....and then I died. yeah, it was my fault, but you brought it on.."He said. Damn, why did he just spew that out...He knew it would offend her and make her feel bad...She had asked hadn't she...
