Dark Outsider Indrid Cold Dark Outsider Indrid Cold Heh, I saw Gundam SEED in DVD Box sets today at the computer expo. I got the box set of Hand Maid May though. I don't really have much intention of seeing SEED. And your reason for it is just as bad as those people who won't watch Mobile Suit Gundam. I know so many people who won't watch MSG because of it's "bad animation" and it makes me sick. gonk Actually my reason is plain and simple. I find it boring. I've seen a few episodes, tha animations good, I like how they've revamped some of the older models, and the fact that the animation is clean compared to the stardust memories series' which gives them a cleaner image in my mind. But still, the plot is stale and I found it boring. I'll give you that, the first half of the series is pretty boring, but it did, in my mind, get better later on. It was considered one of the best series of its time out in Japan during the time it aired. The only series that rivaled it was Full Metal Alchemist, and it was either above or right below SEED in most categories. most of the gundam series actualy begin slow and boring. the same with the movies. it's just there theme... the same with the masked wierdos in every series..

goldbrease most of the gundam series actualy begin slow and boring. the same with the movies. it's just there theme... the same with the masked wierdos in every series.. Not all of them did. Especially the movies, cause if you watched the compilation movies of MSG, then you'll no it isn't that slow. And what's wrong with the masked characters? I personally like the reocurring theme that it has. Especially since Char will always be the original, and will always be one if not the best pilot to ever hit the Gundam universe.

I think another contributing factor would be that I just naturally don't like most mainstreamed anime's. Take Inuyasha for example. I love the series when it first sstarted showing on adult swim.. then the fangirls swarmed over it and I lost my taste for it. I thank god they never showed Golden Boy on adult swim. Funniest anime ever.. and I do mean EVER! It's like FLCL's Pervertedness multiplied exponentially. Hand Maid May is pretty good so far (just finished watching the 1st half of the series) kinda dull in some points. It's basically a cross between the tenchi Muyo series and Chobbits.

Indrid Cold Heh, you can see my digi cam sitting on the shelf in my medicine cabinet right next to my index finger. Grades huh? Meh, I should be getting straight A's this semester. I know I have a 98% in my AP Psychology class. you put you camera in the medicine cabnit to take the picture? O.o wierd... yes back in high school my average grades were either straight A's or all A's and one B. the teachers always rubed my grades in all the studen't faces... didn't make me that popular.

And thus why I'd rather download anime and watch it before the fanboys/girls destroy the poor show. And that's why I'm glad I watched Full Metal Alchemist, Chrno Crusade, and Naruto way before most people even knew of such names.

During last summer I compiled a list of all the anime titles i've seen in teh past 4 years. It was an ongoing project that, when I remembvered the name i'd open up the notepad and type it in. By the end of the summer, after I couldent think of any more that I saw, the list totaled to well over 150 titles.

V.R's are diffrent from MS's...as they require a V-Crystal as power and you basically are one with the V.R...at least I think thats how the VR's are controled from what I have read so far. As for joining...I dunno...Im part of the ASDF sweatdrop ...and Im not following suit of everyone else posting their pic, nya whee

I don't really watch that much, as I tend to get addicted to a few series rather easily. FMA and Naruto especially, as I have every episode possible downloaded and some of which burned off. But really I've only recently gotten into anime in the past year or so.

I found SEED rather annoying as well as boring :/ No anime series should be able to put me to sleep. SEED literally put me to sleep. I was woken up by my cousin because Witch Hunter Robin was starting and went "whoa I fell asleep? o_O" And mind u, i was not tired at all that day.
I know things have been reused throughout the gundam series and stuff, but I dunno, SEED's ammount of reused ideas and predictable plot really doesn't attract me. I'll stick with the older series, thnx

some animes i realy liked are figure 17, gundam F91, and i though dragon drive was sorta nifty as well. figures 17 didn't have alot of episodes but all the episodes are an hour long.

I'll stick with the older series, thnx I think that's what helped me like SEED as much as I do as I didn't know all of the plot of the older series. I knew the basics of it, but I didn't know it entirely. And I think that's why I'm liking SEED DESTINY so much, as according to a lot of people it's mimicing Zeta a whole lot, but I've never seen Zeta so I wouldn't know. But now I see where all those reused ideas came from after getting the UC boxset for christmas recently.
