rhiko felt his mind sliping away from him from the genjutsu, and he knew if he didn't dispell it soon, he would likely loose his mind, and never be able to break the genjutsu without outside help. His hands went together and formered the required seal. His chakra flow was slowed to a near stop, then, he severed it.

The chakra this time, came to a complete stop, and dispelling the genjutsu, once more, only for a short time, at which point it returned with a vengence. This time, it was quite different, it seemed he'd passed some level, or step, because the jutsu changed, and he now was floating in the far reachesof space, the cosmos only a hands stretch away. Like standing in the center of a hologram, but mush more realistic.

Rhiko's efforts had at least gotten him somewhere... the jutsu seemed to be breaking... but he still wasn't sure if the appearance of a crack in the distant space, was a good thing or bad. For all he knew, it could have been his own mind breaking, and soon his only remaining strand of sanity falling away into an endless expance of mindless vacume.

His hands shook from both physical and mental exhustion, "Almost..." He started saying... "Got it.." He conitued slowly, having to concentrate had to just form understandable words. He wasn't even sure if he was really speeking them, or simply thinking them, and his thoughts projected as a physical sound wave in the imaginary universe he was engolfed in.

"Almost there... Almost there... Almost there..." Were the ever repeating, desperate thoughts of Rhiko as he reached out for his salvation. Soon he would come to the goal he started out for in the first place, or would loose it all and never see the light of day again. Whether or not it was the outcome he wished or not, it was obvious he would come out seeing in a completely new light... to the true power and ferosity of genjutsu.

"A few more, just a few more..." His thoughts were cut off as one of the cracks, the breaking points, reached his back, and he felt a searing pain in his head. Dispite the colition point, it burned his mind rather then his body. He gritten his teeth, and clentched his fists, continueously trying to complete the process. His chakra was in place, now, the last step was slowing, and separating the chakra flow. All easier said then done, under his conditions.

Jericho scanned the nearby trees for a branch that looked close enough, sturdy enough, and wide enough to jump to. He picked out of that was a good five feet away and took a deep breath. He inched his way to the edge of the branch he was on and took another deep breath. He thrust his body forward and jumped towards to other branch. He landed with both feet however his feet slid just enough upon impact to throw off his balance. Jerichos legs came out from under him and he feel back first on to the branch. He then bounced forward and broke through tree branches until he finally hit the ground.

Jericho fell to the ground and landed very hard chest first onto a jagged rock. Jericho quickly pushed himself off the rock and rolled onto the softer grass. He gasped for air as he lifted his shirt to look at his chest. The jagged rock had sliced Jericho and it felt as though a few of his ribs had been fractured. The rest of his body was also all beat up and bleeding from all the branches he had fallen through. Jericho lowered his shirt and laid on his back. He decided that he needed to rest before his body gave out on him.

Jericho stayed lying on his back, he had noticed that it was becoming very hard to breath. He took his shirt off and folded it up and set it under his head as a pillow. This made it easier to breath as well as made lying on the ground a little more comfortable. He looked up at the sky as he tried to relax. He was in no hurry to train, he was going to take his time on this exercise, it was very hard and he didn’t want to seriously hurt himself in the process. He knew he would be able to do this no problem someday, but until that day came he would just have to practice.

“I wonder how ninja get so good at this, it is unbelievably painful when you mess up, and you mess up a lot. These guys are truly dedicated if they stick with this.” Jericho let out a sigh as he closed his eyes. “Well I guess I will have to figure it out as well if I am going to be seen as strong in this village, I feel like everyone around me is getting way stronger and I am just standing still. Oh well, I will catch up and surpass every single one of them someday.” He said with a smile. He wasn’t doubting his abilities anymore, he just knew that everyone else had been experienced to this kind of stuff way longer then he had, so they had much more background information.

Jericho decided to take a short nap before he continued and slowly closed his eyes. His mind was completely blank and he drifted in to a completely dreamless state of sleep that completely relaxed him. It wasn’t often that he was able to achieve this type of sleep but whenever he did he always woke up completely refreshed. He heard nothing that was going on around him in the outside world, he saw nothing but nothingness and it was at this point that he was no longer attached to this world or any, his mind had left his body, however it did not go anywhere. It was more like his mind had just shut off for a while, leaving the body to rest completely.

Jericho stayed in this state of mind even with everything that was going on around him. Branches that he had crashed through began to fall around him. Even the ones that lightly landed on him did not wake him, or even make him flinch. If anyone saw Jericho in this state they would probably think he was dead, the strongest smelling salts would probably still not be enough to wake him, the only thing that wakes him at this point is when his mind feels it is ready to turn back on.

Jericho used to be able to sleep like this over a year ago. This was back when he still lived with his father in the grand castle they called their home. His father use to sit at his bedside at night and play him lullabies on his acoustic guitar. Jericho could hear the melody in his head when he thinks about it. He had decided about half a year ago that when he finally got a guitar and learned to play it, he would learn this song and play it to his child when he had one.

Jericho stayed sleeping in this unresponsive state with no thoughts or feelings coming into his mind. Nothing was disturbing his sleep at this point. A chipmunk had came down from a tree and climbed onto his head and made a little nest in his hair. If Jericho had been in a normal state of sleep this would have quickly woken him up, but since he was in his this deep of a sleep nothing could bother him. His breathing began to speed up again as it was becoming easy again.

Jericho slowly work up from his deep dreamless sleep. It had felt to him like he had just closed his eyes for a moment, when it had actually been a solid two hours. He yawned, sat up, and scratched his head only to quickly realize there was something alive in his hair. Jericho struggled to get the chipmunk out of his hair but the harder he tried, the more it became entangled. Jericho finally managed to get a hold of the chipmunk and slowly pulled it out of his hair. He let the chipmunk go and felt the top of his head. It was all knotted and nasty, this upset Jericho because he actually liked his hair.

Jericho let out a sigh as he made his way over to a pond that was off in the distance. He got on his knees at the edge of the pond and dunked his head under the water. He worked at his hair while his head was under water, trying to get out all the sap and dirt that the chipmunk had managed to work into his hair. Jericho pulled his head out of the water and quickly gasped for air. He ran his hands through his hair to straiten it then shook his head like a wet dog. Jericho made his way back to where he had been napping and picked up his shirt and put it back on. “I guess I better continue my training.” He said to himself as he looked up on of the huge trees.

Hiro really couldn't understand why his technique wasn't working. He was a true master of Taijutsu for his rank and age, but for some reason this wasn't working. He picked up the branch out of the ground and launched it into the air. As it soared like a missile through the air he charged forward up another tree. Saving his chakra he bounced from tree to tree all the way till he grabbed hold of the branch. The only problem was the move was upside down. Instead of the branch heading straight down...he was. Falling he let go and rolled off to the side landing in the stream. "Why the hell cant I get this move!"

Jericho looked at the trees around him trying to decide which one he would climb up. He chose a big tree with large thick branches. He climbed up the tree no problem and looked around until he spotted a tree only six or so feet away. Jericho braced himself and took a deep breath. He then let out that breath and jumped, however as he did this his right foot slipped as he pushed off. Jericho missed the tree by a mile and fell a long way down. He landed feat first but they quickly gave out and he fell to his butt. Jericho let out a short yell and pushed himself to his feet to try again.

Jericho climbed up the same tree as before and stepped out on the same branch. He made sure his feet were planted and that they would not slip out form under him again. He looked down and then across to the other tree, then jumped. Jericho reached the tree but his foot landed on a small little branch that cut his bare foot. Jericho fell because of this pain and landed hard on his right arm. He rolled over onto his chest and punched the ground with his left hand. “This is so hard, and so painful!” He yelled.
