I would have to say the best ever is the third. Jabba the Hutt and Bubba Fett are my two favorite bad guysi can't forget Darth Vader, but you see him so much through out the movies that i kinda of got bored with him. I'm not sayin he isn't great, but i love the personality of the two. His personality changes in the end. But hands down i love Chewbacca.

I'd say that episodes III and VI were the best. Of course, my favorite characters are Darth Vader before he went mechanical (if only he would have beaten Obi-Wan the galaxy would have been extremely different), Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. For anyone interested in the books, Jacen Solo becomes way more powerful then Luke but unfortunantly he is becoming the next Sith Lord.

Somehow, luke in the OT never seemed strong to me either.
But then again, we're jsut talkin' 'bout the OT.

Well, he wasn't. That's kinda the point, in my opinion. Luke's apparent weakness as a Jedi wasn't really that apparent 'till Ep. I came out. Then, upon seeing the badassesiest Jedi ever, and looking back at Luke, it couldn't be missed. I think Darth Fatass was trying to show us that, no matter how good Luke is, he's still not on par with a traditionally trained Jedi. Oh, I can' t do this ... *Snicker*
*Finishes Snickering* Or at least that's what he WANTS us to think he meant.

the best ones are the IV and VI because of the space battles, that what i love the most about star wars... the space battles with huge cruisers and launhing fighter squadrons... the glory (?)

There is no glory in war. Only blood, death, and the evils of humanity.

I got to say, every time I see RotJ, I cheer Ackbar's first apearance. If it were the Prequels, he would have been CG. And that would have licked balls.

The OT is the best. My personal fav, though I have no clue why, is ESB. Strange, I seem to have a stronger connection to that movie, even though my fav character is Han Solo and he gets carbon frozen crying

I LOVE JAWAS! Who didn't laugh when the Jawas fell off of their mighty steed?
