Zaan looked to the group. "Imma goin' hunting. There's a...family issue...of sorts...that I need to take care of." He nods at Raina, in case any clarification of what he means by 'family' is needed.
Raina smiles. "Give him one for me." Then she began to head away from the group. "If you're leaving...I'll see you around."
Zaan nodded at Raina and turned to the group. "Where's Kenji? I want to talk to him before we...I...before I go."

"He just ran off..."
"Isn't he the one with, ah, Tess, I believe?" Ben asked.

Zaan growled. "Fine. I'll go find him." He shot a look at his companions. "Stay put. I don't want to have to hunt you all down." Turning, he walked away from the group, sending a message to Kenji as he went. 'Not to interrupt your grieving, but we need to talk. NOW.'

Kenji appears in fromt of Zaan, a stern but not unrelenting look on his face. "You rang?"
He surveys his companions and waits for the reason he was summoned. Tess looks on with a somber disposition and walks over to Kenji, placing her hand on his arm in an offer of condolence.

Zaan sighed. "We're not leaving. I am. I'm not asking you all to put yourself in the middle of this. Besides...this vendetta's been festering for longer than you've all been around...combined. It's my fight." Zaan begins to leave, his task completed. "It was...pleasant, traveling with you all."

"You're not getting rid of me that easily." Kenji retorted. "I can't speak for all of us, but you helped me so now I'm indebted to you... and I plan to be in debt to no man. You can try to shrug me off but I'll follow you until I can be of use either way." Kenji had a look of stubbornness on his face that confirmed he meant what he said.

Zaan chuckles and shakes his head. "Really? Hmm...I...fine. Let's go see the others. Tell them we're leaving and whatnot."

Sam started to speak before Zaan and Kenji could start.
"No. We're going to help you, Zaan. You have helped us all, like Kenji said. I kinda listened in. Sorry. You helped Kenji with his quests and me with finding Ben. Seriously. We're not just going to let you leave."

Zaan looked around at his companions. He opened his mouth to speak and closed it again. He contented himself with looking around again and nodding. "... ..." 'Thank you. To the wagon!'

Kenji entered the wagon and told Zaan to take the reins. In the back, he waited for everyone else to clambor aboard.

Zaan went to the reins, and prepared to leave, then had a thought. "Guys! I gotta go get something to eat first! Back in just a bit!" He jumped from the reins and began heading toward the impressive castle in the background.

Kakashi, as usual, was late to the coming and appeared up behind Zaan and smacked him on the back. "I guess I'm in too." Kakashi muttered. He then looked to Sam and introduced himself to her brother Ben.
