((....oh....um...no ;.; i can't...i'm so sorry! its just my cousin is having a party and its till 7 ish, and even after that i can't get on cause my mom said that i can't get on the comp tomorrow XP but if i can get on, then i'll try....and, can i do mine today? or monday-ish *dies* so sorry))

Kavuasi winced as Kijinga appeared. They had been close... SO close... He lowered his head, his tail slipping in between his legs, then slunk to his mother's side and sat down.
"Yeah, ma...?" He murmured, his head level with his chest. She had caught them. Man, they were going to be in SO much trouble.
((TWO cubs?! eek I thought she was going to chose the heir! That's just one cub! XD))

(Nope Hestia will choose 1 cub to go with her and 1 other to be heir. It's part of the deal that Kimondo made with Hestia so that she, Kimondo, could become Kinja.)

((Actually, I think you're wrong. . . Kavusai is already the Heir, as he is the first-born Male in Kiu's litter. But, Hestia wants to install another 'Heir' in his place for her own purposes, and she's going to take the heir that SHE wants with her. At least, that was my impression. . .))
Kafara tried not to look disappointed. So much had happened so quickly! And she was still stuck here. . . Her tail swished back and forth, almost apprehensively, as she plodded forwards, her head lowered, to sit on her haunces for her Dam's inspection.
She didn't say a word. Instead, she lifted her small chin, cocked her head, and looked at her mother with bright eyes. Even though she'd been plotting to, Kafara hadn't actually done anything wrong.
However, the small lioness couldn't help feeling guilty. . . maybe it was the way that Kinja was glaring at her offspring. Mothers have a 'look' that can make you feel as if you've done something horrible even when you're totally innocent. And Kafara wasn't totally innocent, even though she hadn't actually succeeded in running away.

With a sigh, and without waiting for an answer, Kavuasi stood and plodded to Kafara's side, sitting down beside her and pressing his side against hers. It was a comforting motion; Well, at least, to Kavuasi it was. He just hoped Kafara wouldn't mind. It'd look as if he was siding with his sibling, in the least. There HAD to be a way out of this... Some way to get free from this stupid little clearing.

Kinja looked at her cubs with a stern gaze as they all trudged over to her. "I get the feeling you are all up to something, and that somehting had better not be sneaking away. HOW many times do I have to tell all of you that I want to keep a close eye on you. None of you truly know what the world is like out there and you're far too young to find out yet either." As she looked at each of her cubs she couldn't help but soften a bit and her face turned fom a stern glare to a soft nurturing look while a sad smile graced her features. "There are so many reasons I don't want any of you to venture far from me, but sadly, I can't tell you all why. I just need you all to just listen to me. As you grow up I'll give you more freedom, inch by inch. Just think of when you were confined to the thicket, then to our den, now you may roam in the den and out into this clearing. Whether you believe it or not, you have all been adventuring. Your minds have grown so much that you've now been coming up with ways to entertain yourselves and to even sneak past your father and me." She smiled and lowered her head so that it was even with her little ones. "Just believe that I will give you more freedom when the time comes."
Kimeti had listened to all this his mother had said. He had to admit, she was right. They had been allowed to adventure more as they got older, but still, his want to see the world was growing fater than his body. Now he had heard about this place full of greenery. Oh what a sight it would be to see such a land, but being stuck here with his parents was making it impossible. If only he could just leave the pride forever and take on his own adventures. What fun that would be! To explore the unknown, only a single young lion out to make himself know. Yes! That was what he wanted!

((*nervous grin* Moo might be a little late, she had a concert thing she had to go to. But i'm here, and so's Roxy.))
Kavuasi listened to his mother without portraying any emotion. Deep inside, however, he was brimming with anger and desperation. The thicket, the clearing, the den... They wern't good enough anymore! Didn't his mother see? All Kavu wanted to do was explore, to adventure, to immerse himself in something AMAZING, and become everything her and Father wanted him to be. The Heir, and a good brother, and a good son...
But I don't want that, he thought to himself. That's just what they want. But what they want is important... isn't it?

((Yay! ^__^ My computer finally let me on here! Here's a quick post.))
Kafara looked innocent. Well, not innocent, but she certainly didn't look guilty of anything. In fact, at the moment, Kafara had a far-off look in her eye. Silent as ever.
Kafara yearned to see the outside world. But, as she couldn't get away at the present time, she had to settle for escaping the clearing inside her mind. You could fly with the birds, or leap as high as an antelope in your imagination.
. . . Kavusai pressed up against her, and the warmth of his body brought Kafara back to reality. She didn't move her head to glance at him, but she nuzzled into him as best she could. She did appreciate the friendly gesture. . .
