He is technically a character, what with the backstory about his row with Erasmus, yet he really isn't much, if any better than a normal lictor. Considering how devious GW purports him in preparation for Medusa V, he seems fairly gimped. I bought one, but only because my local hobby store gives 20% discounts for boxed games workshop miniatures.

He's good because the Lictor generally doesn't get to use his armor save much, and just ninjas tanks and Crisis suits and things. The extra attack means a greater probablilty of a rend occuring.

That makes sense, but for being a character, with a backstory and everything, couldn't they made him 200 or so points and given him a T6 and a couple of extra attacks or something? It just seems a bit half-assed to me.

Wow, I just checked the Forge World website and saw their newest Imperial Armor book, the one that covers Tyranid Gargantuan Creatures in excruciating detail. I want one badly, but they're 32 pounds. Does anyone know of a cheaper way of getting one (besides ebay)?

Otherwise, check the respective on-line store of your country, as they are offered up there as well. UK: http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.uk?do=List_Models&code=301362&orignav=10

I once saw a deal on ebay for the first 2 for $25, but I didn't bid. Now I wish I had. Crap they are expensive.
