Cagalli Yura Attha heavyflamer Lt_Brookman You can field them in undivided armies as Elites choices if memory serves me correctly, though when playing an army that follows one (read: kisses the a**) of the chaos gods, then certain factions cannot mix. But when the lord or lieutenant has a mark of one said god, then the special troops become Troop selections instead. Example. Undivided Lord means that Berzerkers are elites choices A Lord with the mark of Nurgle means that Plague Marines are troop choices so could my iron warriors have some beserkers as an elite choice, and if so where do i find this rue so i can prove it to people? 4th edition chaos codex, page 29. However, Page 41 states Iron Warriors can ONLY bear the mark of chaos undivided. So they HAVE to be elites... i knew they had to be elites cause of only being able to take mocu, but ty i must have over looked the elite thingy

Actually, when it says that Iron Warriors can only take the MOCU, it means that if you want to play an Iron Warrior''s army with all their special options, you can't have berserkers, plague marines, or any other cult marine in your army, except obliterators and raptors of course. The reason for this is that all the legion armies have so many special choices, the Iron Warriors have the most in some respects, that cult units would make them too powerful. This is really just common sense. If you wanted you could play a pure codex force, no special options from the IA''s in the back of the book, and just paint them as Iron Warriors.

I agree, I am a big fan of the legion armies myself, but if you wanted to be fair, you would atleast have to limit what else you took if you were going to bend the rules in your favor, and in that case would be better off using the codex list anyway. In fun games I can see it being alright to have berserkers in say an Iron Warriors army, with full battery of Basisilisks and Vindicators, but in a real game, I can't think of any opponent who would see that as a highly unfair advantage, and one that he would feel justifies bending the rules in his favor. Thus it would be best if a.) the players simply play for fun, with little reference to the list and its restrictions or b.) both players play strictly adhearing to the list in question.

There's two at my GW, both have very well converted and painted EC armies. Cool. converting stuff is my favort thing to do and my painting isn't the best but its way better than TTQ.

So long as it's painted to tabletop standards, i'll enjoy playing against it.
