Yeah, re-iterating that the cost of the models is not based on cost within the game; it's the cost of the model to make it plus blah blah blah to get into your hands.
Think about this logically:
Just from their books and models they are effectively doing all of these new things:
-Producing new models
-Creating new material for all of their games
-Funding White Dwarf and all of their activities (though they are another source of revenue)
-Paying for their stores worldwide
-Paying for each and every Games Workshop employee
-Paying to equip all Games Workshop stores with a large selection of painted models to play with in events and special things like that which are generally free.

Alltogether; I don't think we have much to complain about.

It is entirely fine as a race, completely legal also.
Did you not read the
'Adversary Eldar'
part?
Hehe, the adversary rules are in the Daemon Hunters codex.
Any army can technically follow the codex and have a great daemon along with some lesser daemons.
Adversary rules rock.
So before you accuse me of not having a legal army; please read all that I write.

PERFECTLY LEGAL IF PLAYING AGAINST DAEMONHUNTERS MY FRIEND

If you go to page 49 in the Daemonhunters' Codex, you will see the rules for the Adversaries. I'm posting this here because this is not a release rumor, this is about the Eldar, specifically your Khornate Eldar.
The left column of text, bottom paragraph clearly states

"These units [The Daemonic HQ and Daemonic packs] may only be used when fighting a Daemonhunters army."

So really, your idea of popping up a bloodthirster only works against Daemonhunters, and seeing as the Adversaries rule is rarely known, I'd assume not many people play that army.

Well I am glad somebody checked the rules....

You don't have to shove it in my face Andreis simply because I missed a rule.
Thank you for clarifying this for me Mykal. I apologize that I MISREAD the rules. Andreis; really, please grow up.

Firstly, you people need to read over 3 seperate rules of the guild, you're breaking all of them.

1: Ranting about GW prices is prohibited.

2: Directly quote rules from the game is prohibited.

3: Flaming other users, especially about such a minor memory flaw, is prohibited.

I'm thoroughly ashamed of you lot. stare

If I rephrase it, does that help?

I didn't post any points costs. "Rules" could be "You must have 1 HQ and 2 Troops" for a basic game. But that's common knowledge and I doubt I'd get banned. Same for asking about movement range. Troops move 6 inches, but I think that's common knowldge.

I was kidding at any rate.

But sorry.. I do feel bad.
I mean... after collecting for so long under the precept that your army was legal and is now an illegal eldar Khorne army.

Well, he can still play a Khornate Eldar army. Unfluffy or otherwise, it is at least inventive. (I think the best aspect of this concept is sadly missed... Khaine was formed from a fragment of Khorne!)

He just lacks the Bloodthirster to back it up. But I don't see why his Avatar can't look suspiciously like a 'Thirster, eh?

Never heard the whole Khaine and Khorne thing.. except for the fact that their names are similar. I always thought it was somewhat of a joke. Besides.. did the chaos Gods exist before the old ones?

I may be a bit off - my lore is rusty:

Wikipedia
Khaine is also believed to have been assaulted, defeated, and dominated by Slaanesh, the newly-awakened Chaos god of pleasure and passion sometime after Slaanesh's awakening in the 29th millennium (Imperial Calendar). Following this, Khorne the Blood God, patron of war and murder, battled Slaanesh for Khaine, rightly claiming the Eldar deity as belonging (at least partially) to him. During their struggle, Khaine escaped and divided his spiritual essence into the bodies of many of the Eldar race, who in turn became his physical manifestations - the dread Avatars of Khaine - who go before the Eldar in times of war, wielding the might of the War God himself.

As I recall, there is at least SOME basis to the claim by Khorne that Khaine belongs to him. I'll have to dig...

Oh THAT is what you are reffering to!

Khorne may have battled Slaanesh to claim rights over the defeated Khaine, but that does not necessarily mean that the Avatars are bound to him.. ya know?

Khaine is cool, but WAY to proud for his own good.

Well one on hand I could continue painting my weird a** Eldar army and not use my Bloodthirster or Bloodletters; but I feel much like just re-priming everything and starting from scratch. It makes nearly no sense to have my Eldar painted like Khorne now...
Though I spose' I could switch my army list around and take almost full close combat stuff then still have it painted as Khorne; 1 Howling Banshee squad and 2 Striking Scorpion squads here I come!

What I meant is that his Eldar can worship Khorne through the tenuous connection listed above, and that his Bloodthirster can "count as" an Avatar for gamepplay purposes.

Not that the Avatars are in any way related to Khorne.

I'm a big fan of "counts as" units.

Don't give in! COUNTS AS! COUNTS AS!

Lol!
That works then.. an army with a theme is cool, in fact.. there is a 5th chaos God that eldar are more liable to follow becuase of their hatred of the other chaos Gods.
Look it up on Wikipedia.
