"Ohhh..." Bakura groaned as he just realized something. "Ryou's not in any immediate trouble... Whenever I try to make a mind link with him, that pain isn't anything he's feeling... That boy must've set that up so I couldn't find out where he is..." Bakura hit himself on the forehead, muttering under his breath.
"This is going to be more difficult than I imagined... You're right..." He muttered, shaking his head and glaring into the crowd as though it was the boy. "This is a little fun, though. I've never been so mad before, I don't think."

I've never been so mad before, I don't think." Malik smirked, "Well, we better start now, so that we don't totally lose him, we might still be able to catch up to him." Malik said.

"Yes, of course," Bakura snapped, going down the sidewalk and slipping between people carefully. He made sure that he could keep an eye on Malik for most of the timethough he made sure to watch for any signs from the boy.
Khalid sighed. So they were trying to follow him, it seemed. That was just great. He decided not to leave the tomb robber completly useless, since Khalid knew that if he wanted to hide, he could. The robber wouldn't be able to follow him at all. So why not make things a little easier, to make the ex-spirit think he had the upper hand? It would make things go by faster in the future.
Khalid stepped into pretty plain sight, pretending to have paused to look at a street vendor for a moment before continuing on along the sidewalk. If the robber even noticed him, Khalid would lead the two of them down to his apartment.

Bakura paused as he thought. "Because he may have some sort of trap set up. Or he may just want to rattle on about things, make some big speech. I say we follow him, still." He nodded his head slowly, trying his best to think calmly, and not in the eyes of his rage.
A low growl came from deep in his throat as he ended up giving in to his anger, glaring at the boy as he memorized his path, his eyes widening slightly as he went into an apartment building. "Let's go."

Bakura opened the door to teh apartment complex, then looked down the hallway, glaring. He saw one close with a loud band, glanced over at Malik for a moment, then nodded his head slightly and started to carefully walk down the hall. When he reached that apartment's door, he first put a finger to his lips and pressed his ear against the wood, though there was silence.
Inside the apartment, Khalid swiftly made his way across the living room and sat down on a couch. He had purposfully left the door unlocked, knowing that the theif would try and enter. Casting a sharp glance at Ryou, who had fallen asleep on the couch, he debated whether or not he should knock the boy out. It would make some things easier, but he might need him for later, and besides that, the boy deserved a choice of what was to happen.

Bakura opened the door after a moment of listening to silence, cautiously stepping insdie the apartment. He was a little suprised to find the strange boy just sitting calmly on the couch, which Bakura could make out pretty clearly though the apartment was dark. Bakura was used to seeing in shadows.
Khalid smiled faintly and reached over, flipping on a switch that turned on the overhead light. His face returned to its expressionless state when Bakura recoiled from the sudden brightness, easily hiding the smile.
"It took you long enough. What would you've done if I hadn't made it so easy?" Khalid sneered at Bakura, rising to his feet. "Poor little Tomb Robber can't stand it without his hikari. Why do you constantly harm him if you seem so anxious to get him back?"
"Why is it any of your concern?" Bakura snarled, his eyes flashing with anger. "Who are you to care about matters that don't involve you? Actually, just who are you?"

Ryou stirred on the couch and sat up, squinting in the bright light. "Khalid...?" He asked faintly, rubbing his eyes and wincing when his wounds were rubbed against the bandages. His eyes fell on Bakura and a look of horror dawned on his face. "Bakura." He whispered, not so much as adressing his yami but acknowledging that he was there.
Khalid felt a sinking sensation in his stomach. Despite what he had told Ryou after he had woken up, once the introductions had been made, Ryou still held fear towards his yami. Well, Khalid couldn't really blame the boy, since the look of anger on Bakura's face was dangerous. He had been warned before of the robber's temper, and was careful now more than ever.
"Tomb Robber, nothing about me matters. As Ryou just said, though, my name is indeed Khalid," At this Khalid glanced over at Malik for a sign of anything, since Khalid was the Arabic word for eternal. He wasn't sure if Bakura knew this, but he didn't quite care. "The rest of who I am means nothing."

Bakura glared at Khalid, the room starting to fade into darkness around them. Casting a backward glance at Malik, Bakura created a pocket of Shadow Realm only around himself and Khalid. Ryou was also excluded, which was just as well because he wouldn't've been able to handle a trip.
Getting to his feet, Ryou cautiously reached his hand out to try and touch the Shadow Realm orb in front of him. Taking a step, he only found himself on the other side, then sighed. "Oh... Hello Malik..." He said to the blonde, facing him. He hadn't seemed to notice that he was there before.
