*cross shambles in looking a royal mess... his gauntlets shitrt and pants are caked with blood* he makes his way to hiws room.... he unlocks the door... not even bothering to scowl at the name on the key as he puts it in the lock... he then goes into his closet and finds a change of clothes....
He moves over to his bunk and strips it of all its linens bankets.. and its down pillows.. he pulls an extra blanket frokm storage and then exits the room..... shuting the door behind him and heading back to the main room with a heavy hearted glance towards Cora's door.*

*ENTER CAPTAIN MERCUTIO CROSS FROM THE MAIN ROOM*
*cross moves down the hall... when he reaches his room he casts a glance in the direction of Cora's then, ignoring the inexplicable pangs he feels.. he turns back to the door and opens it.. he steps inside his room, accustomed to the rolling feeling at his feet, he takes the plush over to an ornate wrought iron wash stand bolted next to his water closet... he places the cat plush in the basin and poors the vodka over it to disinfect it..... he then sets the bottle aside and takes up a covered pitcher full of fresah water and a cake of soap.... and, rolling up his sleeves, sets to work scrubbing at the doll...*

*after nearly half an hour of scrubbing cross pins the doll to his clothes line and sits down on his bare bunk.... the cat was still a bit pink but it looks a faire sight better than it was... Cross smiles slightly at his handywork, then loooks out his window at the perpetually red nightime sky.. he crosses to his desk and pulls out a piece of paper.. ad begins writeing out a note. He writes slowly and carefully.. the pen producing line after line of elegant caligraphy.. and though the sky outside his window does not show anytime passing.. the cat plush is nearly dry by the time he finishes adding graceful illuminations to the corners of the page... He Seals up the letter melts some wax to seal it and places a simple cross-shaped stamp on it with his signet ring... He then adresses it with some fine strokes of his quill to Cora.. and stands up... heading out the door and over to coras.... He considers knocking..... but, with a sigh, he bends down and slides the paper under the door...
He turns to leave.... then remembers luke's being there and dives for the letter.... but only succedes in pushing it in further. he sighs then smiles leerily at the door. thinking well... its in now.... not much I can do about that.. he then stands and brushes himelf off before returning to his room.*

*Cross removes the Plush from his clothes line.... it was mostly dry now.. and while not immaculate, it was much cleaner..... he then walks over to his desk and begins rumaging in his drawers... he wasn't sure it would be here.. but then everything else was... after a few moments he finds what he is looking for.. a length of pink ribbon which he ties in a bow around the doll's neck... then, with the cat tucked under his arm, he leaves his room, shutting his door behind him. He then makes his way down the hall and back to the main room*

A'ight then.... here y'are.. should be wha'tever it is ye need in there... and a bed.. sleep well there lass.. I'll check up on ye in th'morn.... if I'm here... if not.. rest well.
*she says her good nights and he heads out. pausing at Cora's door breifly.. before heading on to his room.. he enters inside it and sinks down onto his bare bed.... leaning back and shutting his eyes as the rocking motion of his room lulls him into a temporary sleep.*
