Ryou nodded slowly as Jounouchi left. He began to crack an egg open into the pan as he heard a rather loud thud in the hall and some yelling, a very distinct one from Bakura. Leaving the stove he stumbled towards the hall way to see what the two were doing.
Not to any suprise they were fighting...again. Rolling his eyes he put a hand to the wall and frowned at the two. He felt as though they were children. Not to mention the feeling he had no idea why either were fighting.
"Why?" he mumbled, looking to them with narrowed eyes. His obviously tired exterior was no longer there, instead placed with anger and annoyance. "Why do you keep fighting? Your just causing more trouble then what we already have to deal with. Both of you, just stop it." he said, his voice eerily strict, unlike his normally soft, gentle one. He narrowed his eyes some more before smelling something burning.
"Now look what you did." Turning around angrily he stalked, or as much as he could, into the kitchen and quickly turned off the stove. The eggs that were in the pan were now a dark brown.
((haha woohoo...I dunno...I felt like making him 'yell' at them...though it wasn't yelling...more like just...uh hmm...talking strongly or something x___x
hehe and ryoko, I posted over at the realm...sorry it took me a little while >.> Vacation dontchyaknow.))

( xd Poor Ryou) Malik blinked at the suddenly angry teen. Now that was different. And guess who's fault it was? Bakura also blinked at Ryou. The same thought ran through his mind as he turned and glared at Malik to find him already glaring. After a moment or so of glaring Malik broke the gaze and limped into the kitchen after Ryou. The pain from his wound faded to dullity. The Egyptian stood behind him, and finally spoke. "I'm sorry. He started it, though." He leaned foreward, restinghis head on the teen's shoulder appologeticly(spelling?).

Jou kept his eyes on Bakura, although he too was startled by Ryou's outburst. But hey, really, how much could one guy take? He was hurt, and everyone around him kept picking fights, in his house no less! Jou would have been really irate at that point too, if it had been him.
He looked down at the glaring Yami no Malik and sighed, plopping down next to him while continuing to send glances Bakura's way. "You alright there?"

Ryou was about to throw away the eggs when he felt Malik come up behind him and lean against him. He bit on his lower lip and shook his head. It was his fault in the first place for even letting it get this far. If he had done something earlier maybe none of this would have happened. Putting the pan down he let out a soft sigh.
"Don't say that. You both began it." he mumured and relaxed slightly against Malik without realizing it. "I just don't understand...I know you are angry at him...I think everyone is. But you dont have to start making it physical." His voice softened a bit as he spoke, so only Malik could hear, that and if he heard any more loud noises he thought his head would explode. "Can't you just...I don't know, try to deal with him for now?"
His brown eyes moved to the side, looking at the ground, his back still staying where it was with Malik against it.

Malik made a small whining noise, complaining, "But......!" After a few moments the Egyptian finally whispered into Ryou's ear, enjoying the warm breath he felt bounce back. "Fine. I will try to act civil, but its only for you." He coiled his arms over Ryou's stomach, contented with his position up against the smaller teen. Bakura glared at the blond teen, "Like you would care." The tomb robber stood and walked back to living room to his usual sulking spot behind the couch. Yami Malik pulled himself lazily to his hands and knees, then pulled himself into Jou's lap, lying his head down on the blond's theigh happily. "I am thankful to whatever god there is out there he is gone." Came the split personality's reply to Bakura's leave.

Jou sighed again, shaking his head. Well, at least not everyone was grumpy. Yami no Malik seemed a little more at ease than ususal. Maybe because he was more comfortable with Jou now?
"Yeah... well, good," he said with a little smile down at the yami. He reached down, running his hand through the other's sandy-brown hair."You look tired, you should go lay down again."

Ryou froze as he felt Malik's breath agaisnt his ear and his voice quietly speaking. He wasn't used to someone doing that. And then he had a shiver run up his spine as he was touched, and hugged around his stomach. No one touched him like that, unless it was fake, and trying to make him fall into some kind of trap. At that point he didn't know what to do, let his body take over and do what it wanted, or let his mind tell him to back away. He felt as though he could trust the boy against him...but there was always that chance...
Finally he leaned back against Malik and closed his eyes. Pushing the pessimistic thoughts from his brain he just let himself be held. It was as though he could just fall asleep there, it felt comfortable, and strangely right.

(One of the pets from my shop died today. I didn't notice it until now, but the poor thing was a month old today... crying Poor thing..) Malik felt the chill travel up Ryou's spine, peering at him inquiringly. "Is something wrong?" Came the Egyptian's troubled voice. This time his mouth was farther away from the other teen's ear, but as soon as he had spoke he leaned back against Ryou's shoulder. Yami Malik made a strange, contented humming sound, laying down in Jou's lap. "I am lying down. And no, I'm not moving." Came his usual, stubborn reply. The split personality was comfortable with his head on Jou's theigh. Bakura smirked, his eyes glinting. The tomb robber had come up with the perfect plan. Now all he needed was to wait.

((T__T Aww...))
Jou let out a sigh at Yami Malik's stubborn behavior, but let it slide witha smile. "I meant on a bed, or a couch, or something. What makes you think I'm comfortable like this?" he teased. "C'mon, get up." His hand paused in the yami's hair, his fingers still entwined in the light strands. He wondered, would the yami really listen to him?

((heh...atleast it wasn't a real one right? X3))
Ryou shook his head slightly as he asked him if something was wrong. He couldn't find his voice as he let himself be held. Closing his eyes he breathed in deeply, a faint shudder coming with it. "Why are you doing this?" he said, hardly above a whisper. He was confused, why would anyone want to hold him like this? Almost in an affectionate way. He couldn't remember the last time he felt so at ease.
After a moment he opened his chocolate eyes and looked out the window at the lit up sky. If only everything could be so quite and peaceful as it was now. It only was a matter of time until those two broke at each other again, even if Malik did tell him he wouldn't. "Is it because you want something?" he questioned, used to being used in such a way. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy what Malik was doing at the moment, but it was only right to be suspicious.

Malik frowned heavily. Is that what Ryou had been thinking about the whole time? That Malik wanted something? The Egyptian couldn't help but wonder if he was only suspicious because of who it was. "I'm sorry." Why did he always want to be so close to the teen? Malik didn't know, but he had a good guess. He had fallen for him. He took a step back and pulled his arms back to his sides. The Egyptian sighed, and slowly began to walk back to the living room. Slowly on purpose. He paused at the kitchen door, peering back at Ryou. Yami Malik gave an angry mutter before pulling himself to his feet, creeping off to the living room, where he sat on the couch with his arms and legs crossed. What? Did his lover not want him nearby anymore? He gave an indignant growl. Well, two can play at that.

Jou noted the PO'ed look on the seme's face and rolled his eyes a bit. C'mon, he'd just been joking! Yami Malik was just too high strung. Too tense... and that gave Jou an idea for later. But for now, he just stood up and made his way over the couch and then plopping down beside the other. He peered at the Egyptian from the corner of his eye. "Jus' thought you'd like a couch more then my leg. More comfortable, y'know?"

Ryou frowned as he felt Malik let go of him and walk away. He figured it was best to not go after him though, anyways he had food to make. And his stomach reminded him by growling. Turning back around he took out some more eggs after throwing away the burnt ones. With skilled hands he cracked five of them and put them into the large black pan. He turned towards the pantry and took out a loaf of bread. His hands shook slightly and let the bag slip, but only landing on the counter. Carefully taking a few slices out and putting them in the toaster he leaned against the counter.
Putting a pale hand to his head he winced and leaned back in pain. The loss of blood was still getting to him, making him slightly dizzy and his head pound. More so he was fighting with himself about why he had said that to Malik. If he just kept his mouth shut he wouldn't be alone right now. With a soft sigh he took the spatula and flipped the eggs over after he heard them sizzling. The smell filled the air by now, making his head hurt even more.

(What ideas are those, Jou? o_o; Oh. TURTLE! *faints*) Malik stood at the door, peering at the other teen curiously, wondering if the other would come after him. He didn't. The Egyptian wanted to leave, but some part of him, probably that crazy 10 year old locked away in his head, wanted to stay and watch Ryou cook. The crazy 10 year old part won out in the end, Malik walked over behind Ryou, watching the him flip the eggs over his shoulder. The Egyptian was also worried, he couldn't pretend he hadn't seen Ryou put his hand to his head. Yami Malik peered over at the uke with a 'No, not really' mutter. As soon as the other had sat down, though, the yami had been watching a particular place he was going to sleep on. Soon he had crept back into Jou's lap, his head resting contently on his theigh again. Yami Malik gave him a 'You're not getting your way' smirk.

(( xd Nothing perverted, don't worry about that.
I would think that to be Yami Malik's forte anyway... ninja
Yes, J-chan is a turtle! heart ))
Jou just gave a 'you're only getting away with this because I'm letting you' smile (if such a thing exists) before settling back into the couch, getting himself comfortable. "You sleep a lot, y'know that?" he commented while he looked down at the Egyptian. "Probably because you don't eat enough or something."
