Well that interest is easily explained. *Takes a deep breath and looks to Piper with all seriousness.* No offense dude, but the polka-dot outfit.... It's not all that great. Absolutely brings out the wrong tones in your skin.

What?! Oh do not EVEN-that outfit was a classic. That's the outfit that made me famous! And it was so comfortable, too. Form-fitting in all the right places. Not a big overstuffed parka or unfashionable vertical stripes like SOME Rogues!

Iiiiiiit was and it wasn't...I decided to become a thief mainly because I knew how much it would cheese off my parents. They were so incensed that, the first time I was captured, they bribed the police to give me a false identity - Henry Darrow. I didn't even want that from them, so I made up my own identity.

Thomas Peterson, at your service. Did some solo work for a while...managed to pull off some pretty impressive thefts. Whatever the Flash or Elongated Man didn't recover I sent to my parents; my bratty way of 'paying them back' for all the money they blew into my education and sham of a job at their publishing company. The worst irony was because everything I was sending them was stolen, there was no way they could sell it or give it to the police without revealing that their son was the Pied Piper.

I was a stupid punk choosing a stupid way to rebel. Being a Rogue was fun for me because I thought, maybe, I'd get captured or even killed. And I was actually looking forward to that, in a perverse way.
I had a mental breakdown shortly before the second Flash, the one I call "Saint Barry" died. Wound up in an institution where they actually did a lot to help me work through some things. After the Flash died, I decided it was time to stop killing myself and think about other people for a change.

No, I think we've pretty much resolved THAT issue. But he's back, Digger...er, Captain Boomerang is back, Professor Zoom is back...but not the Trickster.
James didn't get the lucky roll of the dice, I guess.
