((This is continued from a PM RP between Blake and Synda that is recorded in my journal....not the journal in the guild, but the one attached to my avi so if you all want to read it to catch up on what is going on, it's the latest entry listed there heart ))

Blake lay his head against her warm body and fell asleep breathing in her scent, the thrumming of her purr mixing with his own as he fell deeply asleep and for the first time, the dreams didn't come. As the new day dawned, and touched the oasis, Blake awoke first and nuzzled his love softly before getting up only long enough to kill them some breakfast (another couple of rabbits) before they began their travels into their new life.

He let her take the lead, showing him the way to her pride, the pace unhurried as they were still both very thin though they took much pleasure and comfort from each other and the thought of their united life ahead. At their measured pace, it took them a few days to reach the border of the land, but already they were looking better than they had. Blake, however, was getting more nervous and quieter, as they got closer and closer. He'd never really talked to a king before, much less knew what to say to one or really how to interact with other lions (since he'd willingly given up his flirting ways on his own to be with Synda). "What do I say to him?" he finally blurted out to his love as he paced up on the border. "What if he....doesnt' like me? What then?"

Jayvyn shook his head. "No... but he looks like us." He shrunk back into Rellick, noting his son's protective position of his family. Why would he want to hurt them? He didn't want to! "Greetings, Nitarin." The male looked away. What had he done to the other?

Synda blinked and chuckled gently. "Synda thinks that Uncle Rellick will be happy that Synda found someone." The tan lioness nuzzled him then reared her head roaring of their return. "Synda and Blake cannot proceed without Rellick's permisson." She then roared again signalling Rellick that she brought another with her...one who wished to join the pride...would he accept? It had been a while since she was here at home..would Rellick still welcome her back? Surely he would, as well as her new mate, Blake.

Brooke lifted her head. It was Synda's roar. She climbed onto her feet, and descended from the ledge, lingering slightly to enjoy the view for another moment, before entering into the den. She felt herself tense up already, and so stood off to the side where she would stay unless need be that she move.

And where had Jax disappeared to?

Nitarin bowed his head slightly. Well and so, his dark sire didn't seem to remember him.. He fought a wave of bitter laughter, though he was quite sure his body shook with it. "Well Met Once More, Jayvyn, Dark King of Scarlet Shadows... I present my mate Insiri, the Blue Flower.. And our children, Nasiri, Cavalia and Vasire."

Insiri smiled, scooping her cubs into a semblance of order and trying to keep her miniature self -Nasiri- from dashing off to find trouble. "Well Met Dark King, and Greetings again Red King."

Rellick smiled at Insiri, glad his son had found love.. And then turned his eyes to the cubs. They were a lovely trio of cubs, and he was quite proud. Synda's roar turned his mind back to the border and he winced. "Jay, I must see to this.."
He pitched his voice to carry to the Pride.
"ARELI! I have need of you!" He called, glad he had named her his Queen.

Areli got up from the ground not too far away, smiling dimly. She padded over fairly quickly, nosing him softly. "Yes, Rellick?" she asked with a smile, taking a moment to not to Nitarin and his family, before turning to Jayvyn again. "Long time no see, King Jayvyn." she said with her usual, strong, yet calm smile.

Rellick gave a quiver of plesure to find her so close and her smile shining on him, and nuzzled her kindly. "If you would please.. Take Jayvyn back to the Den, show him up to my roost, or his own should he wish it.. "
The King's perch was a rock ledge within the cave just above the den entryway, Jayvyn's was the rock practically level with it, and Areli's now the ledge just below.. Each of the ledges were padded with the hides of animals the lions had killed, as was the back half of the den should a lion or lioness object to claiming a ledge. The ledges themselves reached from the ground, jutting out of the wall and spiraling around the den like stairs to the King's Ledge itself. Each ledge had enough room for three full grow lions or lionesses, so it was with ease that Nitarin and his family could claim the forth ledge as their own, and Rellick wondered if they would.
Shaking his head, he turned back to Areli. "Please see that he is not disturbed, he is in need of rest. I'll return to the Den as soon as I am finished welcoming our visitors.."

Jager sprinted across the horizon, his body quivering, red fur atop his back. "Hold on, Mother...please hold on." Seeing the boarder and others waiting, he did not. Instead, he roared his urgent return passing them quickly. Quickly, he stepped into the den, sliding to a halt. "King Rellick! I am in need of a healer, please!" She kept his mother astride his back. "Hurry! She's dying! My mother is dying!" Tears threated to leave his eyes, body quivering with anger, but mostly fear. He still couldn't believe what happened...after all they did for that b*****d king, he betrayed them! He felt weakend, breath being stolen from his body. "Please...save my mother's heart..." He whispered gently eyes looking about for a green form...his green angel...

Areli nodded calmly, before hearing Jager, and the words about his mother. Now she seemed, less calm, alittle worried... actually inside, she was beyond worried for the lioness she didn't know even a little bit. "Jadera; she's still here, is she not? Could she call Dashira, while you tend to the border?" she asked Rellick, turning to stand by Jayvyn so she could lead him back to the den.

For some reason, Jadera had felt her nieces thoughts fill with aprehension. Naharia paced toward the waters of the lake to call Dashira, and felt she would fail. Knowing she could not, Jadera made after the young Princess, ready to aid her if she should have need. "Naharia."
...
Jadera smiled as she stepped back from the water, glad she had arrived.. Together she and Naharia had summoned Dashira, and as their friend paced over the last few yards of water since she rose to the surface, they watched the sunlight bathe her dry pale green coat in a halo of gold. "Dashira, father has need of you...."
A twist at her heart made her catch her breath mid-sentence, eyes widening. Jager...Dashira too seemed to feel it.

"There is a more pressing matter than forgotten memories.." Dashira murmured. "Someone is gravely hurt."
Smiling slightly at Naharia and Jadera, Dashira turned and leapt into a silent run, her strides swift and untiring. The ground flew by beneath her paws.

Rellick opened his mouth to roar for his sister, when he noted she, his daughter and Dashira were hurtling towards them. "That does not seem necessary, Areli..."
He blinked and noted his sister swiftly leaping ahead, heading straight for Jager with a roar that tugged at his heart. The pain and concern in her voice was bare. "Your plea is answered Jager, Jadera brings the Healer."

Jade slid to a stop beside Jager, fighting the urge to bury her head in his mane and chest. Her breath was light, but her heart thundered in her chest.
"Are you alright?" She whispered. "I suddenly felt.. Like.. Something happened to you.."
Tears filled her blue eyes.

Jager stared into the blue eye's of his angel. His own tears trying to be supressed. It pained him to see her cry... "Jade..my mother...she was betrayed by..Mika'il...she couldn't take it.." He looked down too angry to speak. "It hurts to see my mother like this...she did nothing wrong...him and his stupid pride!" He snarled gently. "Doing what's best my tail feathers!" He supressed the urge to roar loudly as he felt himself sink slowly to the ground letting his mother slip off. The lioness's breathing was barely noticeable, body seeming not to move. Jager nuzzled her gently. "Mother...please..hang on...he's not worth it, Mother...not worth it at all...." He shook his head as he nuzzled the magenta fur that mirrored his own slightly.

Jadera shivered to see the open pain in Jager's eyes, wanting to comfort him. She glanced at her brother, then decided she didn't care, and carefully nuzzled Jager's cheek. She knew of Mika'il, and his temper. He had unleashed it on his sister, her dear friend Akitana. "She'll be alright."

Dashira crouched, nuzzling the lioness's cheek, trying to stir her into wakefulness. "Is it a physical wound, or heart-wound?"
She mused, casting a minor healing over the lioness, hoping it would stir the Magenta lioness. "What is her name?"

Jager winced a little, but nuzzled back. He sighed gently. "Her name is Leanna...and I think it's both. She was wounded when she came to Desert Kingdom seeking refuge...had a bit of a limp.." He flicked his tail gently not wanting to relax until his mother was alright. Jager nudged Jadera gently and looked her in the eyes as a thanks before turning back to his mother.

She stirred lightly, her body twitching. She felt something warm and soothing around her body. "Mmmmm..." She groaned lightly and opened her eyes. "Where...where am I?" The magenta whispered hoarsely. "Why do I feel so stiff and sore...?" She tried to get up, but a wave of pain hit her causing her to go down. She sighed gently as Jager nuzzled her. "My son..."

"Something is wrong..." Brooke felt the sudden urge to pace, and a strong sense of some deep matters spinning like clockwork nearby. She had been with Rellick long enough to be able to feel the sudden but subtle jerk of her flakes and knew well that it was what happened to her every time he summoned Dashira. "Someone is hurt..." She said to herself, feeling wound too tight, yet unable to do anything to help. She knew better than to go out - she would only get in the way, and yet, pacing did not help soothe her nerves in the least.

Jade nuzzled him once more and smiled encouragingly, stepping back so she wasn't in the way. Leanna was asking for her son, and Jade didn't want to be a burden. She fell back beside her brother, and hope Dashira could help....

Dashira frowned. "I cannot heal a heart wound, that is not the way of a shaman.. Her physical ills..."
The lioness almost scoffed. "They will be no trouble..."
Closing her eyes, Dashira began to weave a Healing. She called for help from all the elements and they gave it, forming a bright net over the whole of Leanna's body. It sank into her maroon fur slowly, soothing all ills and mending all tears if she would only let it. The most important thing, was never to fight against a healing.
