She hugged him close, burring her face in his neck and shoulder. "I'll step down as an elder, if you win this revolution." She pulled away a bit. "I'm so sorry, but I can't do this any other way. If you win, I'll gladly step down if you ask me too, but right now..." She sighed. "I won't do anything to hinder or help either side in the war. Will that suit you? It'll be jsut as good as tepping down, without me actually having too. Yet."

"Lioness?" Neko asked. "I thought I was you little kitten. Not that I don't mind being aclled a lioness." She didn't realize that she had unsheathed her calws and that they were scratching at Asmodai's back as she was hugging him. She kissed his ear, and nipped at his neck, almost enough to break his skin.
