I got my spacers in today for my bottom braces. They don't hurt that much yet, but they will... oh, they will.
And just a heads up, my MSN name being "Jesus loves you more than you could know" is a song reference, and an insult.

Lovely. I'm getting my braces off this summer. Yay. I had spacers, but they never bothered me... except once when they came out...

Yeah... I was never able to deal with having food stuck in my back teeth, now there are large rubber rings stuck back there. They've started to hurt some (teeth all jammed together), but they're mostly just annoying, because they're a constant presence, making my gums all uncomfortable...

I don't really mind having stuff stuck in my teeth unless it's popcorn. Popcorn hurts a lot and NEVER comes out. Heh...

Spacers aren't as bad as the braces.
Oh, and then there's when they tighten them.
*shudder*

It doesn't hurt when they're tightened. Kupi lies. Or maybe it's because I take ibprofen before I go to the orthodontist, so I just don't notice.

Alright so in Sacramento (I don't know where else) its like a major monarch butterfly migration path, so the butterflies are all over the place.
Monarch butterflies are my favorite butterfly, so for about an hour, I've been outside with a fineish fishing net trying to capture one,
Success! and he is a very pretty butterfly.
I actually posted a drawing on my deviantart account (wow!)

I had braces for 2 and a half years. I really didn't think they hurt that badly, nor did I think they looked that bad.
Now that I look back on it, I was wrong. sweatdrop

Yeah, that might have something to do with it. But I doubt it. It just doesn't hurt some people... it might be because your teeth are good enough in the first place. I've started to build up an immunity to Motrin (ibuprofen)... I have near-constant headaches, so I used to take it a lot. Now I have to ration it to myself. I always thought that braces were large and creepy, and HUGE amounts of metal all over the mouth... now that I have them, they don't look that way at all, they just hurt like a ********.

I only had braces for about a year (I think... I don't really remember.) I thought the retainer afterward was much worse. And the day after I got it I had to do a presentation in class and I still couldn't talk with it so I sounded all lispy xp

=P I'll only have my braces for about 3 more months, then a retainer, and I'll have had braces for 1.5 years, and I'm used to retainers (when I was younger I had them) they aren't bad. Stupid crooked teeth.
