Maebe wondered if Dawson thought she was going to forget about that bath comment after all this time. Because she wasn't. "So should I make that reservation for two? I'm sure they have a bath big enough for the both of us." Before he could answer, which was just going to be a verbal equivalent to facesmashing a keyboard, she surged forward and leapt up onto the lion's head.

It was difficult to ride a bucking lion's head, backwards, while trying to skewer it.

The trident just kept diving into the hole she was making, right at the top of the lion's great neck. She stabbed, and stabbed, ignoring the feel of marble stinging her skin as pieces flew off in her haste to destroy it.

But all good things must come to an end, and Maebe's ended when she was finally bucked clear off of the lion. She flew off to the side, rolled, and landed with a thud.

And with another crack, the statue fell apart. Fixing his hat, he went over to check on Maebe and offered her a hand up. "You'd need a big tub," Dawson said with a chuckle. The vines missed her, as did the sticky mud, but after a welcome back from both of them, Maebe eventually made it to the other end, waiting patiently while checking her legs for damage. "You'd be welcome to!" he told her cheerfully even as the vines lashed at him. Dawson was determined to make it across one way or another. "I'd like a house like Meri's got, y'know, big n' welcomin' n' warm n' stuff. Some place people'd feel good t'come to whenever." Quite frankly just a physical representation of what he himself wanted to display to other people. On the other side, he tapped his boots against the ground to try and get rid of some of the mud; getting grimy had never been a fear of his, but it was still a b***h to clean these things out if the layers got all dry and glued together. "I got a good feelin' about this one," he added as he peered at the Place of Death and Bad Stags. Maybe putting it out into the universe crap actually worked? Stamina: 26
