Every morning when I open my eyes, it feels like a dream
It feels like the dazzling sun is shining for me
Again today, without fail, my day starts with you 𝔸lyssa 𝕍ictoria 𝔾ardner ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬（ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ ）▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ When she saw the guy hold out his hand for her, Alyssa was unsure if she should take his hand but finally after a few seconds of contemplating, the young woman takes the guys hand as he told her his name. "Its a pleasure to meet you Mercer." She said still a small smile upon her face. Then she looked towards her dog, who seemed to love the attention he was getting. Alyssa couldn't help but let out a small giggle towards her dog who was giving a silly look. She had only seen the look he was giving Mercer a few times before, when he was most comfortable with someone. ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬（ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ ）▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ Do you sleep well at night?

"Well I wouldn't say that. I'm not a hottie at all, mostly just a plain Jane I guess you could say." She stated towards him, giving him a look with her brown eyes, as if saying to retort to it. And it was true, the blonde nineteen year old, always felt like a plain Jane especially from where she lived in which was in England. Everyone else to her seemed like a cute, or hot person. "I only say that because that's how I feel compared to other women around my age or older." She stated to him before turned her back towards him. She wasn't sure why but she felt like his personality was rubbing her the wrong way a bit and that she should leave. He wanted to say something about it, but the enjoyment of walking along the path with her changed his mind. He glanced at the statues they passed, some more familiar to him than others, but also well sculpted. He also saw the area he showed Priya what the beast within him looked like. "So... What do I look like to you?" he asked, almost out of the blue but with concern over her answer.

"Most of all that is true. I know I'm pretty, but I don't actually feel pretty at the same time. And I whisper a lot when I first meet someone." She said as she went back to sit near Mercer. Now this time her dog Morpheus had his head on her lap in order to cheer her up. Smiling slightly at her dog the young woman looks back at the guy before continuing to speak once more. "My confidence level is almost always low due to the fact of what happened when I was younger." Usually people weren't so willing to acknowledge their faults but no matter, Mercer continued to listen to to her speak. OK so something happened when she was younger? Mercer really wouldn't bother asking about it since he didn't know anything about her at all, if she wanted to share then she could "Hmph usually people who ask for my opinion get pissed at me, to have someone actually agree with me is pretty weird" Mercer casually said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his zippo lighter and began to idly play with it, lighting it on and off. _______________________________________
