The chains were thick, and the clanging metal was making a lot of noise. She had yet to alert any of the zombies (she had to thank Dakota for his fine service as bait), but she had to be more careful.
Quiet, quiet. She stopped trying for a moment. Patience was key.

Now she was beginning to panic a little. The chains were much thicker than she thought, and the lock was too far out of her reach.
"s**t," she cursed, trying to get a better look of her surroundings. There had to be something...

"Should we try to find a portal home?"
"Y-yeah. I think there's a portal on the other side of the fence, I remember seeing on our way towards the asylum." Ami sighed. "We have to find a way across. Give me a boost?"

Infected - Second stage neutral
The uncontrollable gulping sound was what Mimsy and Robert first got, then a hug too painful followed before the Life huntress was pushed away, the girl tilted head and mumbled. "D...o..n.....t....n.....ea.......r.........f....i....n.....d......ma........r.........k" They should listen to what Robert said, she wasn't safe. Words were drawled and muffled by the scarf.
All of a suddenly, Robert's hand was tugged and the hand slowly scribbled on his palm. "I-N-F-E-C-T-I-O-N," Letters were written and shortly she moved again. "G-E-T-V-A-C-C-I-N-E" Then, he was pushed with an oddly strong force whereas the girl guarded the hammer against them.
Don't get close, her whole body signaled, focus scattered, at least not on them.
Fighting with the deepest urgent desire was such an agony, it was like arm wrestling, pulled and being pulled. They smelt so great, like the most delicious cakes in the world. It trickled her sense and asked her to take a bite.

Shu CAN attack anyone but right now her bites do not carry an infection yet. She can also attack with her weapon, doing whatever damage she rolls in melee damage to another person.
With her legs, she managed to wiggle a bar in between her chains and the chair. Then, Junpei was summoned.
< Happy to help but I'm not sharp enough to cut chains- >
Shut up.
She desummoned half of Junpei, leaving herself a blunt club essentially. One end of said club was then pushed into the bar she'd found.
Fire as much FEAR as you have into the end of the staff, she instructed.
The resulting pressure between the triangle bars, combined with the sharp end of her staff and a ******** of FEAR created enough force to shatter the existing chains. With a loud clatter she was free. "Dakota, don't be so stupid as to get killed here. I haven't finished using you," she instructed him.
And then she began looking for an exit. Ami's first goal was always preservation, not friendship.
At least that's what he thought. The hum was almost gentle, until it was broken with the snapping of her neck, as it turned and snapped again.
"No. ******** no. No." Dakota started to thrash, overloaded by the sheer presence of her. The minute the chains were released from his arms, he summoned Chama and drove the sword into the thing, it was already a mass he didn't know, it wasn't Julie. He kept driving it down until it was still. Until it didn't move.
Then he woke. Same room, no Julie creature. But he could see someone.
"Ami?" he groaned, his head rolling back just a little. There was no chains, but the moment he stood, he could feel them littered around his feet. Ami had freed him. Well ********. He rubbed at his head.
"Who the ******** is going to let you use them." He whispered after her, searching with her for the exit. This time, Chama stayed unsummoned as to not draw attention. Briefly, he looked around for Julie!thing....he was more relieved then anything not to see it.
Damage: 10 (( (One shotted ya Julie thingy ghoul) sorry not sorry))
She fell, stumbling immediately upon impact, the damage nearly shattering her kneecap as she landed hard. There was immediately an intense pain, and then a welt squelch as she moved forward.
There was a horde of infected right at her feet.
Thankfully, there was also Sherry.

Stormy and Sherry are in the same area! They can both attack the pool hp of 30 HP army of undead! If either of them miss, they are bitten, otherwise if they get it 0 HP, they can help each other out the pit.

"Ow!" Sherry immediately regretted her decision to jump down. She should have at least tried to find a light first. "Jake? s**t," she was muttering as she tried to catch herself. That hurt. Far more than she needed right then.
Jake didn't answer her. Hell, a moment later she really hoped he wasn't even in the pit. She really didn't want to be down there either, but it was too late for that. She took one step back and cried out in pain. Right ankle. s**t.
Running wasn't going to help too much. Sherry swung her weapon at the mob of infected folks.

Hi. Sherry might not see her yet but I do. o.o
OOC
Sherry has a sprained ankle, but she can try her best to escape/ take them down. If she tries to escape, roll 1d6. If even she escapes, if odd, she is dragged down.
If she tries to attack, they have a pool 20 HP. As long as she doesn't miss she is not bitten. However, if she even misses once, she becomes infected.

And than, she whispered. "I have this?" And handed him the flashlight.
"A flashlight," Mark repeated, dumbfounded. "How is that - you know what nevermind. Go find me a runic weapon or something will you? Otherwise we'll never get a portal running. "
OOC
There is a giant litter of dead bodies outside! Roll 1d4. If you roll a 1 you discover an infected body instead (that attacks you, if you roll a 4, you get a runic weapon.

Lydia nearly cried because she had failed her beloved Sasquatch friend that wasn't really her friend and crawled back out to find a damn runic weapon hopefully.
Luckily for her, the first body, only about two feet away, had a runic dagger clutched in its hand. She grabbed it and took it back to Mark, handing it to him with a much more hopeful expression this time.
She nearly shrieked on impact. Instead, Stormy nearly bit her tongue off and made a loud, high-pitched strangled noise as she nearly fell over. It was good that she didn't, as her cushion was a rising army of infected patients.
She didn't see any of her boys, but she did see one of the girls.
"Sherry!" It came out almost as a yelp as she tried to moved forward, her left knee protesting loudly. Teeth grit, Stormy swung and beat back several of the things. "You okay?"
Sherry looked up as she heard her name. It wasn't Jake, it was... Stormy.
"Stormy! I'm alright! Hurt my ankle but nothing too bad!" She hoped anyway. She was still trying to not put weight on it. "You?" She called back to the Mist.
The swinging of her weapon was more automatic than anything. Stop the things, then deal with ankles and pits.

Lex didn't at all recall seeing a portal near the asylum, and for the matter didn't recognize this was an asylum - but he always deferred to the woman's judgement. She was the observational one - he just dug into people's heads. "Right, yes. A boost." He parroted, squinting at her. Ami wasn't normally so... polite. Maybe the dark and the insects had touched a nerve? He knelt down and offered his hands as a stepping stool for her.
"So, South America. Which beach would you want to visit first?" He asked conversationally.
Jude attacked again, trying hard not to get bitten as he did so. He refused to leave Maebe behind right now, "I know we can't take them all down. We just need to mow them down and make our escape."
He hadn't noticed just yet that she'd been bitten. If he had he'd probably feel super guilty.
"Just humor me and go first toward the door, okay? I got your back." She was the one more afraid of the dark, as dimly lit by the flashlight as it was.
"M'okay," she replied, "just a nearly broken knee." Nothing big at all. No injury was going to stop her now that they had taken separated her family from her. The pain was a happy punishment for letting it happen at all, for being so petty for just one moment--just long enough to let everything go to s**t for them.
Ohana was supposed to mean nobody was left behind or forgotten. If paying for the mistake meant enduring the injury and whatever Tuck had in store for her, it was a small price to pay if it meant getting everyone back again.
With a focused, concentrated look, Stormy obliterated the remaining infected, the grip on her weapon tight. She couldn't hide her wince afterwards, but the gimp leg would just have to learn to cooperate with her.
"Jake?" she prompted her as she looked for a way out.
