"Not bad hehe."
Memo winked at the crowd then snickered at the Seviper.
"Knock em' dead, Baxter!"
Memo's pokeball spun out and popped open to release a Spunky Poochyena who bared his fangs and growled at the large snake.
"This could get difficult.."
He thought as Cereza climbed onto his shoulders and cheered.
"You got the first move, Allen!"

"Why thank you for the courtesy, I'm afraid I won't be as sweet." Allen quickly calculated his chances with each of his moves. "Alright, Seviper! Poison Tail!" He called, Poochyena was a quick little bugger, but Seviper could easier change his direction should the Poochyena try to dodge.

"Wouldn't dream of it!"
Memo watched as Allen called out his command and quickly countered with a neko like smile.
"Catch it with, Poison Fang!"
Baxter rolled over and let it's fangs glow a bright purple and chomped down to catch the swinging tail of Allen's Seviper. The two Poison type attacks met with a bang!
"Now! Dig!"
"Ruff!"
Memo's Poochyena attempted to take the large snake underground where Memo and Baxter would have the advantage.

Allen's lips curled up, not knowing where Memo's Poochyena had gone was a bit of trouble, but Allen had a plan for this. "Coil!" He called, and with that Seviper pulled together on himself, raising his Attack, Defense and Accuracy. Now, whenever Poochyena came up, Seviper would be able to take the hit a lot easier, not to mention hit a bit harder. And the longer little dog stayed hidden, the more Seviper's stats would improve. It was just a game of time. He glared with a murderous smile at Memo.

"Hehe!"
Memo held his hand close to his mouth and tilted his head once again to narrow his eyes.
"Double Team!"
A multitude of copies rose from the 2 holes that Baxter had made. They surrounded Seviper and moved about very swiftly and gracefully in a confusing barrage of tumbling, but composed Poochyena.
"You can't hit what you can't see!"
Memo flashed a gentle smile at Allen as Chikorita pumped up the crowd behind him.
"Chhhhhhika!"

Allen knew that the evasion would equal out with any increase in accuracy he made, of course, he knew Memo knew that too, "We'll see.". So he called out, "Bulldoze!" since it was an area effecting move. Seviper nodded, raising high on it's tail and bringing it's chest down heavily onto the ground, The ground that was shaping up the be the arena for the two trainers, cracked outwards eventually sending sharp edges toward all the copies of Poochyena. People in nearby buildings came out to see what all the fuss was about. The crowd had grown by a sizable amount. Now Allen was being forced not to disappoint.

"Tch!"
Memo scoffed and bit his lip.
"Baxter!"
The small dog was shot up into the sky by the large jagged rocks. The Poochyena was able to take the brunt of the attack, but was obviously hurting. Some of the copies remained intact and Memo had to take advantage of that.
"Aha! Baxter, use Shadow Ball on your copies!"
He shot out dark balls of crackling energy to the copies as it dove down to the ground with amazing speed. As the copies were destroyed they let out a bright flash of light that surely would have taken their toll on Allen's Seviper. Memo wasted no time once he saw Baxter make contact with the broken earth.
"Make a beeline for a close range Shadow Ball!"

Seviper reeled back from the bright flashes, there was no chance to escape the oncoming attack. Even though the Bulldoze lowered the Poochyena's speed, it was a still very quick. "Seviper, roll backwards!" As the Poochyena launched it's attack, Seviper rolled back, taking the full brunt of the Shadow Ball. "Coil again!" Seviper, even thought hurt very bad, used the momentum of the attack to plant it's tail on the ground and gracefully coiled into himself, taking no damage from the fall. "Now, Poison Tail again!" He surged forward, easily maneuvering around rocks and up faced earth, pulling himself around to slash at the little Dark type.

"No way!!"
Memo stepped forward with strength and shot out his arm.
"Baxter use Iron Tail!"
The Poochyena howled mightily and charged forward with a sidestep as his tail lit up and turned into a mighty steel rod! No matter how much Seviper raised it's stats the Poison type move wouldn't bother Baxter's counter move! Once the 2 attacks met Baxter used the flash and strength from the collision to let loose another, "Shadow Ball!" At the Seviper from close range as he gained defensive distance.

Allen's lip curled again, his fists balled and he threw them both up, "Night Slash through that Shadow Ball and Bulldoze again!" This close range, and Seviper's agile body, he easily cuts through the ball with the Dark type power, causing it to explode in Poochyena's face. He immediately fired off another Bulldoze, breaking the ground further.

"As if!"
Memo took another step forward and the crowd was cheering loudly!
"Chikooori!"
"Baxter! Use the Iron Tail and meet the stalagmites! Tear it up!"
While still flying backwards the powerful little dog used it's shining tail to pulverize the oncoming area attack with a spin accompanied with that familiar howl of relentless strength!
"Now use the those rocks and send them down to Seviper!"
"Ruf!"
Baxter swiftly landed on a piece of broken ground and jumped up again to use all 4 paws to land on multiple pieces of debris, jumping from one to another, and sending them on a downward spiral to Allen's pokemon!

"Seviper! Dodge!" Seviper pulled himself into a perfect spiral and quickly bounced out of the way. "Allen glared, and quickly surveyed the wreckage. The crowd had backup up quite a ways, but there were still yet more people watching, lined up along windows in nearby buildings, he motioned for Memo to look, with a twitch of his head, not actually meaning to distract him. quickly he returned to the battle, "Seviper! Poison Tail again!" Seviper forced himself up into the air, front flipped and slammed his poison filled tail on the Poochyena.

"You're good!"
After Memo had yelled out to Allen with a grin, he noticed the boy's movement and used his peripherals to see the almost scared looking crowd not taking their eyes off of the pair.
"Heh."
He looked up at the battle taking place and wasted no time.
"Catch that using Poison Fang, again!"
Baxter let it's fangs light up that ominous purple again and caught Seviper's bladed tail taking minimal damage, but it wasn't over.
"Use that momentum and flip yourself over Seviper!"
Once Baxter was at a slight upward angle from being chomped down on Seviper's tail he let go and just like that was over the snake!
"Now use Shadow Ball with your Poison Fang!"
Baxter's fangs continued to glow bright as it closed it's mouth and only bared it's fangs with an erratic growl. It charged the shadowy blob in it's jaws and just like that..
"Fire!"
The Shadow Ball raced out of Baxter's closed fangs in the shape of small beams that escaped the gaps of his glowing fangs! The poison charged bullets of darkness cascaded down towards the snake and even if Allen's Seviper did manage to dodge somehow, the bright purple beams would blind the snake yet again! Memo smiled and cracked his fingers.
"Go!"

Allen chuckled, finally realizing where Memo's techniques were coming from. Hoenn, the home of Pokemon coordination. He was blind not to have seen it before. "Alright, let's play..." He rolled his shoulders, getting serious. "Seviper, Coil around your head, follow up with Night Slash!" Seviper, still in the air rolled himself forward burying his head in his own chest and rolling around, efectively covering his eyes from the blinding light. As well, the Night Slash, being fueled with energy started spinning his body around and around, knocking the shots mostly harmlessly aside. Seviper hit the ground in a Rollout, like motion, spinning over and over again, the Night Slash cutting bounders in half like a knife through butter. the energy looked more like a thick trail of black and purple energy rotating rapidly around the Pokemon. it was heading right for the Poochyena.

"Ah!"
Memo took a step back and narrowed his eyes. His long eyelashes seemed to flutter about as a slow smile spread across his face.
"Very good! You're a great trainer!"
Baxter continued it's growl as it met the floor and Memo scoffed with a small giggle.
"Counter with Dig!"
"Chiko!"
Baxter charged at the large, dark, ominous wheel that the snake had become with amazing courage!
"Do it!"
As the two closed the distance Baxter took it's last leap and dug into the ground just feet away from the spinning Seviper! The little dog disappeared in the ground under while still digging forward! That created a pitfall effect on the snake and would've stopped it's wheel of doom motion in it's tracks!
"Haha! Shadow Ball!"
Baxter popped up from the ground once again with amazing grace and power to release a cannonball of darkness that crackled with energy!
